I've been vaping for two days now... I bought the Smoking Everywhere ..

I know it has crap reviews, but hell.. it got me started. But, I want to get a better experience!

So, now I've been reading around here and I think I'm gonna branch out and get a 510. But I have some questions..

When you get the starter kit, it comes with some cartridges... If I want to buy my own liquids, should I buy blank cartridges too?

Sorry if this is a repeat question, I'm having a hard time finding anywhere talking about this. If you could, let me know.. or send a link my way talking about what to buy when you're ready to drop the cookie-cutter newbie toy and move to a more robust, controlled setup.

Thanks!

The starter kit includes most everything you need. You can also find suppliers that ship the 510 with blank carts instead of pre-filled carts. Some people just really don't enjoy the pre-filled cartridges. A lot of people also suggest a USB passthrough if you're on or near your computer very much. It keeps you from having to change batteries constantly while you're at home. My main suggestion would be to stock up on juice from the start and don't buy liquids in bulk until you know what you like. I purchased my 510 from thesmokesafe and they've been great.

You can refill carts so you don't really need a lot of them but it is probably a good idea to buy at least a few extra in addition to the included ones. I try to keep around 20 carts per model laying around.

In all honestly though I use the carts very infrequently. For the most part I just drip liquid directly on the atomizer and use the same cart (without filler) for several days at a time. OK 100% honesty, I use the same cart till i look at it and think 'holy crap that gnawed up thing looks disgusting'.

If you are going to refill carts then don't refill them more than two or three times without cleaning the filler material. To clean the filler material get a pair of tweezers and pull out the filler material and run it under hot water. If the nice fresh white color returns to the material you should be able to use it again without issues.
