Hey all! Thanks for all the great info. I used this forum and reddit quite a bit over the last few days to learn as much as I could about e-cigs and vaping.

In the end I purchased an iTaste MVP 2.0 from my local brick and mortar store yesterday. The bug has hit though and today I ordered a unitank and replacement heads online.

Here's my girl. I'm still thinking up a name :)

Nice selection. People seem to really like this mod. I went with a Provari and have never looked back. As for attys, I'm all about rebuildables. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with an igo-L for a dripper and a Kayfun for a tank.

The MVP is a great choice for someone just getting into vaping IMO. Like I said in another thread, I recommend them to all people who ask about getting into this game. The Provari is a great choice also but the price is a little steep for first time users, even though a pack of cigs in NYC run from 10 - 15 dollars I cant justify the purchase of a Provari to them until they are addicted to vaping

Yeah, I was put off by the price for sure. I also looked into the VTR just because it looks SO cool, but the combination of the weight and the price led me to the MVP.

The MVP 2.0 was the best choice because its an all in one device perfect for getting into vaping....510/EGO connection, VV/VW and all attachments fit.

The VTR would have lead to needing batteries and charger, no EGO connection and only accepting toppers that are less then 20mm. It has an expansion but it looks hideous IMO.

I own both because I have batteries and chargers laying around, great device the VTR is but its not a good first device

I have the MVP 2 in black, but it has that brushed look. I love both the iClear 30 it came with, and the iClear 30b that I bought on top. I have my second MVP 2 Energy on its way to me. Got it in petal. I can't wait for it to get here. I gave away my cheap, generic, back up ego, so I've been using the MVP 2 exclusively and it's nerve wracking only having one device. Thankfully, the battery on it has allowed for it to be my only device, and it's been taking a beating too.

I think I might pick one of these up for an 'out and about' PV. I like the form factor.

You can't go wrong for the price. $40 something shipped. It had NEVER run out of a charge on me, and I have a 12 hour day between work and my commute. Not only has it never run out of a charge, it's charged my iPhone 4S on many occasions while I was stuck in the subway. The new Energy kit can also be found on EBay for around $45. I just opened my new one up, and I'm loving the iClear 16b so far. We'll see of it gurgles like the Protank does when I vape it down to nearly empty.
