It looks good but realize the Tr-001 charger is very slow. Pila or xtar is the preferred charger. Also get at least 1 atomizer to test juices before committing a carto or clearo to a juice you may not like. Also realize with your tank you only have 1 carto. I would an extra pack (5 pack)

I'm ordering from gotvapes.com and this is the only charger they have available.. which is kinda odd.

Maybe I'll pick up the Pila or the Xtar when I order my AW batteries from a different site.

But for now, I will take your advice and get an atomizer for tasting purposes. Do you recommend one for my setup?

Atomizer
SMOKtech Regular 510 Wide-bridge Atomizer - 2.5 ohm BLACK [gotvapes-smo510atty-2.5ohm-black] - $6.50 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
Before you use your Cartomizer and tank first fill of the carto is VERY IMPORTANT. It will determine the longevity of your carto. With me light juice carto in a tank lasts 80- 90 ml. With dark juice 50- 60 ml. Those that don't first fill properly go though a carto every 10? ml. Google "PBusardo filling Boge" for a great detailed YouTube tutorial.
Good Luck.

Back up to 27%-:)
Juice Conponents
PG enhances TH and lung hit- waterlike
VG is responsible for vapor and mutes flavor- very thick
Nicotine is most responsible for TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine.
Standard industry ratios are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 70/ 30. Most begin with 18 or 24 mg. I began at 36 but I soled 1 PAD very strong analogs for 44 yrs.
I vape a lower Nic level in the evening cuz my sleep was affected by daytime Nic level.
MOST important. PG and VG are humicants- they trap moisture from our throat and mouth and thus the vapor comes from our bodies and NOT the juice. Dehydration can ruin the vape experience. I drink at least 1 1/2 liters water per day.
Do not be surprised or worried about the amount you vape in the first 3-4 weeks. There are alkoids that take about that long to leave the body. If you're experiencing headaches it could be Nic od. Also realize Condensation will build up in the airways of cartos and Clearos- this is norm esp if chain Vaping. When using the carto + tank if you see bubbles coming from the carto hole it means negative pressure has built up in the tank- to equalize pull carto up and allow some air into the tank.
The Very Best of Luck to You and Stay Safe.

thanks for the informative information.. I'm not quite sure what the pg/vg ratios are because they are not listed on DFWvapor. I believe they are different for each flavor though. This will be my first order for juices though so trial and error. I will see what works for me and stick with it.

I don't by any means chain vape but who knows what the future holds.. lol:vapor:

You're very welcome When you have all this stuff in hand it'll be as clear as....mud. Just joking once you have everything it'll all make sense. Usually when ordering juice they offer choice of PG/ VG ratio. I DIY so don't know much about vendor juice. Just saw a friend/ vendor yesterday- just got the Gripper in stock one week ago and many pleased buyers. They really like how comfortable it fits in the hand and the easy button operation.
Cheers and Good Luck. Batt down to 6%- latest IPhone update SUX.

You may want to check and see if you need an ego adaptor for the Stardusts with the Gripper. The Viva and DC should work fine. Only other thing I didn't see was liquid. It'd be terrible to have that sweet setup and nothing to put in it lol. And that setup should last quite a while.

Hello all.

I'm pretty new to vaping but have been doing extensive amounts of research on it. IMO:blink:

I finally got to the point where i hating waking up because my lungs would be so congested. Not to mention that my 9 y/o daughter has been getting on my case to quit, and that there is no smoking on my job's property and have to drive about a quarter mile off grounds every time I wanted to light up.

All these factors together made me start looking into e-cigarettes.

I went right to Blu's website and got my shopping cart all loaded up and went to pull the trigger except I couldn't find my debit card. I took this as a sign to do a little bit more research on the e-cigarette I was about to purchase. From what I researched it was a good sign.

I ended up canceling my order with Blu and picking up a starter kit from ProSmoke. I got the deluxe starter kit with the chargeable holding pack. I also picked up a few extra carts so I wouldn't have to order again anytime soon.

I don't know if I'm completely impressed with the ProSmoke as far as taste and length of carts go... but on the other hand, I am simply amazed with the concept of vaping. This is my 3rd full day without an analog cigarette and I never once even had the urge for one since I transitioned. Awesome!!:)

So I've been doing more and more research about different ways to vape and all the info I'm receiving and trying to process is becoming a bit overwhelming for me. Cartomizers, clearomizers, tanks, bottom feed, top feed, drips, volts, ohms, single coil, dual coil... the list goes on.

I'm beginning to think I'm gonna have to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to find a vapor system that suits me perfectly. All the videos I have watched on youtube show the reviewers with 10-20 different system setups. I just want one. That perfect one that will suit me and get it on the first go around.

I'm not a cheapy by any means and have the capitol to invest into different devices if necessary, but I'd just rather not! lol.

At the moment, after all my research... This is the setup that I think I'm looking for.

eGo Twist battery
thread cover adapter
some sort of tank system cart
single coil low res atomizer (3.5-4.0v)
VG smoke juice

Please confirm or deny if this is a good setup, remember I'm still a novice so please be gentle.

I'm not really in any rush to pull the trigger and plan on doing a lot more research before I pull the trigger on a bigger device. But for now the ProSmokes are getting me by.

My ultimate plan is to use the ProSmokes for work because they are small and more discreet when on grounds at my job. Then using a bigger setup for commuting in the car and while at home.

Any more information needed in recommending me a good setup, feel free to ask.

I look forward to being part of this community long term and contributing back.

Day 3 tobacco-free and loving it!!:vapor:

All of the answers to your questions are in the Vaper's Handbook. Tear it up.

Looks like I do need a 510 to eGo adapter.. but I don't see one on the gotvapes site so I might lose the stardust's and pick up a few more vivi nova's. Good thing I didn't pull the trigger yet.

If you really like it. Do yourself a favor. Buy a Did and a provari v2. There are other genisis mods and tube mods also. If not you will do what most of us have done. Keep upgrading. Plus with a good set up you will like it better then the stinky. And will quit for sure.

This is what most do.

Well that's what I intended on doing.. that's why I got a $200 order in just hardware not including my juices. I've read a few threads where Provari owners are putting their device on the back burner after they purchase the Gripper. I figure I'd give it a try first.

But I've already had the Provari on my mind for a future upgrade.

I don't have one but that's a good choice too. But really think about a genisis. It changed my life and I tried many atty's. Good luck to you. Your kids will thank you for being with them longer. If you have any :).

I have a 9 y/o and she is one of the reasons I quit.. she kept napping me every time I lit up. "Daddy that's your last one"

But the main reason being I felt the tobacco taking a gruesome toll on my lungs.. I'm still coughing up gunk from time to time. Hopefully it's just a matter of time before my lungs start the transition from black back to pink, or white or whatever color lungs are lol.

But don't worry, in due time I will definitely reflect back on this thread and try the Genesis and a lot of other good suggestions that were given here.
