New to vaping, actually coming from smokeless tobacco which was tearing up my mouth. I started with the ego-t and the CE4 clearomizers. I like it in general but have some big issues with my setup. They have great vapor and taste but no matter what juice I use or how careful I am they only seem to last a week or two before they get a burned taste.
The first one I had the metal ring and the following rubber ring between it and the 'tank' came loose. I fished the ring out and super-glued it all back together. Worked for a while but eventually started leaking like mad so I tossed it. I tried to clean one in hot water and the metal ring part fell apart in the water. I have another that started to taste burned so I tried to clean it in hot water etc which helped but only for a short while.
So I picked up a DC cartomizer whith tank. No clue what it is, the guys at the vapor shop here can be .... holes and wont give you the time of day and could not tell me anything about their products anyways. So I blindly picked it up, I know it has a replaceable bottom coil and has a tank not much larger than the CE4. I really like it because it never ever leaks and the one flavor I have used it tastes great. However it does not produce the best hits and I think thats in part because the ego battery was just too weak for it. It works its best on a fresh charge and a fresh fill. Goes downhill from there.
So anyways I have been lurking here for sometime and see here and with my friends that vape that they love their VV setups and really like the Vivi Nova. I feel almost worse about the whole thing now because I almost feel like I went a step backward. Nicotene intake has gone from a casual few times a day thing to an outright hobby. In part because they facinate me for some reason and blowing big 'vapor rings' is awesome, they taste great too. On the plus I can much better regulate and monitor my intake of the drug.
I just got my Sigili ZMAX and have a Vivi Mini-nova on it. I must say that that setup is far superior to my previous in terms of vapor quality, all around. However The Mininova is a pain, it leaks like a sieve. Even if I clear it out and am sure to leave it standing upright and not overfilled the thing manages to get flooded. It is a real drag to have to clear it out everytime you want to vape. So I tried to use the ZMAX with my DC and CE4. The DC works but the airflow is a bit restricted in the ZMAX as is and CE4 unuseable for the same reason. Do they make spacers to help fit these smaller cartos/clearos on the ZMAX?
My only gripe with the ZMAX itself is that changing voltage/power settings by a single increment is nearly impossible for me. It increments too fast after changing from the selection to the set menu.
So obviously I am still exploring what is right and works for me. Products people have no problems with I seem to have problems with. I will stick to the ego for day to day because it is small, fits in my pocket, and I don't feel like I am vaping out of 'The Sex-Matron' in public.
Sorry for sounding like I am just beng a big downer because I am not. I rate the overall venture as a success but I hope maybe people can point me in the right direction for successful use of these products.
