New to Vaping, Have a Question

Hello all, I'm a newb and I can't figure out what the deal is with wall chargers. I have the USB charger but no wall plug yet. I'm using the Vision Spinner 2, and read that I can't use the iPhone wall plug because of the voltage (?) or something. Can someone explain what I should buy? Is the fasttech wall plug what I want? In the discussion on there someone said it would kill my battery.

Any USB wall wart should work. Some people say that to be cautious you should use a .5 amp or less,. I charge everything from a Amazon.com: Antec Quad Port USB Charging Station (UA4-25): MP3 Players & Accessories that has 1 and 2 amp outlets and have never had a problem. Your charger or device is supposed to regulate how much power is drawn.

No the issue is the overload to the battery, if your adaptor no circuit to detect the battery if it know the battery full, then to cut the incharge, then it will overload the battery. bettery to buy one charger from the ecig seller.

Or get a simple wall wart to use with your USB chargers. I've had one for years and used it without any problems:

If you're going to put the research in to find exactly the right product you might want to consider a charger with multiple usb ports. That's something I don't own and frequently wish I did. . . I guess it's just not as exciting a purchase as a shiny new toy to carry with you everywhere you go. . .

The best and most reliable wall-warts are branded smart-phone chargers: HTC or Samsung for example. Apple does do some strange stuff in their chargers, but I don't believe it will affect an e-cig charger. It is fairly careful that it only gives excess power to an Apple device that is expecting it.

Always buy wall-warts that are either branded, or are sold by a company that you can trust to do due-diligence on unbranded imports. That doesn't include ma&pop independent B&Ms. Some of the products from the far East etc are not only bad, they're dangerous. The importer is responsible for ensuring they meet national standards, and large companies will have the expertise, facilities and the desire to do so.
