Hey, I just started vaping with disposables a couple months back - not to quit smoking, because I've never smoked before, but rather as part of a diet! Better hand to mouth a vaporizer than potato chips, hey?

So I started with trying four different brands of gas station vaporizers, and I'm sure you're now all thinking that $9+ for each one, I could have just bought an awesome beginner setup, right? Well I didn't know better. Now I do - I got a a $22 evo kit from DX with two 1300mh batteries and two CE4s, and also got about $30 in various juices in bottles and also an ego C as a lot of the flavors came in the little plastic carts. Now you're probably thinking that trying all those flavors in the same atomizer probably ruined whatever flavor I was going for. Yeah. I didn't know better. I tried cleaning the vaporizer, burnt the cotton, then everything not only tasted terrible, but burnt as well. I didn't know better. Now all I can do is vape DeKang Wrigley's doublemint on the C atomizer, and it tastes like coffee and Dutch chocolate mint.

So, I'm already over $100 into vaping and loving it! (And actually losing weight) But, I'm not happy with my setup.

I'm willing to go in another $100 or so on a good VV/VW battery, juice, and a rebuildable cart - but there's a catch; I'm in northern Canada and buying stuff up here is ridiculous with shipping and all, so it has to be stuff I can buy off of fasttech!

Since my experience has been so limited, I'm not sure what I like, so I'd like something customizable in every aspect I've seen mentioned here - large wattage and voltage range, instructions on how to wind wire to different ohms, juice suggestions, adjustable air flow, the whole nine yards!

Thanks for reading!

Edit: I forgot to mention, I'd prefer something pocketable and of a more normal shape; MVP2 is out of the question for example

Get your post count up to 5 and then you can post in the Canada region. Once there, go to the thread about Canadian vendors, and they will supply a list of vendors in Canada where you can get all your supplies. Since ecigs are not allowed to be imported to Canada you risk confiscation of shipments bought out of country. Good luck, Vape long and Prosper.

Last night officially ended my relationship with Prtotanks II's anyway. I haven't used one since I found one that's a lot more reliable and lower maintenance (iClear 30S). My wife still has a Protank II and it leaked out two tanks of fluid before I concluded the o-ring on the base will probably need replaced. I alternated between two PTII's for a while and they were both really finicky and leaky but when they didn't give me attitude they worked well. The Protank II and iClear30S are both probably larger tanks than you'd want to deal with. But I have used the iClear30S for twice the amount of time my wife's been using her PTII (since I switched to the iClear) and I haven't had any such seal or hardware failures. If the rest of iClear's tanks are like the 30S I can't see how you wouldn't be happy with the product.

try a decent bottom coil tank but make sure its an authentic. The knock off protanks for example from FT are pieces of junk. I think your selling yourself short by not considering a box. I didn't think I'd want one either until it was in my hand. The mvp2 is a awesome bang for the buck.

ncvafan is right. I know there are US vendors who ship to Canada. Vape 101 is one of them. If you feel the MVP2 is too big then try the Innokin VV-3 as it comes with VV/VW. I have both the VV-3 and MVP2 and both are excellent. I use them with authentic Kanger tanks. The ProTank2 Mini and the ProTank2 are both excellent. I've read enough horror stories about clone ProTanks from FT. They are junk and use glue and some come with plastic tanks.

With the price of juices in Canada, I think I'll take my chances ordering from an American site...

I'm thinking I might buy a VTR as an at-home thing, and exhalevapors has the smok pipe on for $25 - probably a fair bit more acceptable in public. I'd buy the vv3 if it was in stock at 101, but it's not, and after seeing a $25 price tag I don't really want to pay more elsewhere..

Canadian prices are a bit crazy, very true.
