New to vaping; LOVE IT!

Hi!
Actually, not quite new ... I bought a mall e-cig a few years ago, but never got into the swing of it. After trying and trying every other way, and almost going psychotic on Chantix, I broke out the old "Smoking Free" battery and charger, bought a pack of horrible overpriced cartos, and haven't looked back since Sept 2, 2011.

I've since ordered a KR808d-1 and a bunch of preloaded cartos, done a lot of reading and video viewing, and vaped a ton. I can already breathe better (no wheezing, no coughing). My family is thrilled, and I am so happy to find this community. I think the blossoming of the vaping culture has really made a difference ... heh, I'm a closet hipster, I guess.

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and trying all the different tips and hints. Already to start reloading cartos instead of getting preloads ... that'll be my next order!

I do have one question ... do you refill cartos yourself? If so, what's your preferred method. I've looked at some syringe videos and that looks really easy and not as potentially messy as dripping. Any opinions?

I use the syringe method. I have used dripping in the side also,it's not too bad if your hand is steady . But never liked the condom method. I have used regular carto's, now I use the CE2 deluxe fluxomizers, so the only (easiest) way is with the syringe if you don't take out the cup seal.

I saw a 60-minutes show about the 'smoking baby' and how many people smoke in Singapore. Congrats to you on the switch! Hope your ecig arrives soon and you're happily vaping

I use the syringe method...especially for new cartos...you can fill the syringe with the exact amount the carto will hold, slide it down the side and fill with no muss, no fuss...since I like to keep my cartos well wet for flavor and longevity, after that first fill, I will drip fill to top them off...about the time I figure I have used about half of the juice or less...8-12 drops and a little blow out and I am back and running...when I am out and about, I carry a spare filled carto and a little 10ml bottle of juice to keep me going...rarely change out the carto...just freshen up the one I am using...have fun and enjoy...as always with these things YMMV................

Heh...I'm originally from San Francisco; have lived here in Scottsdale for 5 years; I am still in culture shock. I don't really fit in here, though I've found my little niche through my work (I'm a photojournalist...I cover the local music scene and pop culture --- mostly comics). I've come to calling the Valley "Valley of the Stunned" as a kind of S.F. elitist affectation, but to a degree I find it to be true...especially in Scottsdale. No offense intended ... it's all meant in good humor.

Eek...I just noticed you're from here. LOL. Seriously, I have found many things to love about AZ. Today's weather is my favorite kind. The clouds are so beautiful, and very different than what I'm used to. Do you go to local rock shows at all? I've seen a couple of people vaping outside of clubs (yes, still outside) ... are you one of them??

Im' originally from Philly area, Phx about 10yrs now, so don't fell bad about dissing AZ heh heh. No, i vape inside clubs and venues when i'm mixing shows.

No, not a DJ (Thankfully) but a 27yr vet audio engineer. Just did the Foster The People concert last nite. And there is a ecig store (kind of) you can go to and pickup your supplies. Contact Us
