New to vaping, loving it so far!

So I (like many here) started vaping so I could quit smoking. I'm on day three and I'm so glad I started! I haven't had a single urge to grab an analog since I bought my EVOD!

At first I was worried I was getting too much nic I'm my system, but after some research I realized I'm probably at a lower rate than I was before! I'm using 6mg Hell's Vapor and I don't think I've even done a whole tank in one day yet. I can't wait to pick up some other flavors!

Before I made the switch I was down to maybe 6 cigs a day, I had been trying to quit off and on for a while and I was sneaking around hiding it from my girlfriend, much like I did with my parents when I started smoking 6 years ago. It's much nicer not having to do that. It's so relaxing to just kick back and vape when I'm surfing the web or watching TV. I never smoked inside (well in this apartment) but it's nice to be able to and not worry about starting a fire or stinking the place up.

I just wanted to let people here know how happy I am to be off cig and to actually smell okay! I'm looking forward to being a part of this community!

Welcome Thar, It's nice to be off of cigs isn't it? The first thing I noticed 3-1/2 years ago when I quit was the mental relief of not smoking. I finally had found something that worked. Enjoy that Evod, and not smoking.

Definitely! I work at a bike shop and everyone there is pretty fit, eats healthy, etc., so I felt really stupid being the only guy there that (to my knowledge) smokes. I hated hiding out on my lunch break for my afternoon smoke, and would be embarrassed if I ran into a coworker outside of a bar with a cig in my hand. I didn't even take a vape break during my 9 hour shift. yesterday! I'm liberated!

The only downsides are trading one addiction for another, and I'm having some vapers tongue, but that will pass and this seems to be a much healthier and manageable addiction.

The guy at the local shop gave me a quick rundown of maintenance that I need to do on my EVOD, but I kind of forgot some of what he told me. Does anyone have any pointers to make sure my ecig is working properly for a long time? Or at least until I get bit by the upgrade bug !

Get a few replacement tanks, they are good for a few weeks given your fairly light usage. When you change tanks or recharge, use a bit of wadded up toilet paper to clean the inside where you screw it into the charger. Same if it gurgles when you draw. It is best to have a backup vape.

When I quit analogs I was super shocked at how much better my lungs felt after the first few weeks. Not to mention how my sense of smell and taste buds came back.

I am analog free for about 2 months now and I'm also enjoying vaping. I feel better too. It's a great life style change.
