Hi,

Up until the last few weeks, I have been using a 10 motives electronic cigarette which uses cartridges. I had some problems with some of the cartridges and decided to try a 'Shishaa Luxor', which uses e-liquid, in the meantime.

I was wondering when to, and how you know when to, change the clearomizer? The initial clearomizer that came with the Shishaa Luxor is fantastic and I haven't had any problems so far, but I'm not sure when to change it. I ordered a replacement clearomizer by the same brand and although (I think) I did everything the same, the replacement tasted of burning.

I've since ordered a few more different branded clearomizers but I seem to be getting a burnt taste everytime and I'm not sure why. I've tried to make sure enough liquid is in and the coil is wet but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'd really appreciate some advice!

Thanks,

Alex

Maybe the wicks aren't primed well enough before your first vape...
On your first fill, take a few pulls without firing the battery. You may even here a slight bit of gurgling.. now fire the battery and take another pull... that should ensure that the coil is well primed.
Also, does your battery have a variable voltage adjustment? If it does, turn down the voltage. That could help more than anything.

An excellent starter bit of kit would be the MVP 2 with an Aspire Nautilus Tank (or the Nautilus Mini).
Get the BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) for it (order several of them for spares... as many as you can afford)
The BVC coils are for the Mini, but they also work in the standard Nautilus.
I'll see if I can find some links and I'll come back and edit my post when I find them...

Cheers!
