Hello all,
As the title says, I just got into vaping. I decided to skip all wasteful purchases & went straight to Reo. Sounds like I made a good decision & I'm glad I did.
Got my two Reos yesterday. A Mini 2.1 & a Grand. I absolutely love em!
Along with them I picked up a Kick for the Grand, an A7 RBA, Cisco 1.5Ω 510 atty, & an inexpensive 1.5Ω 510 atty from Reo. I haven't used the Kick or the A7 yet as I need to tweak the RBA & probably try shortening it by remachining it on the lathe. The Cisco atty works pretty well. But the atty I got from Reo does not work nearly as well ast the Cisco, but expected.
Both the 1.5Ω atties are bridged. But the one from Reo floods very easily. If I squonk to the point where I barely get juice flowing into the catch cup it's flooded & barely hits even if I take a few pulls without firing first. It takes a while to clear out the atty (unless I remove it & clear it out by blowing). As it starts to clear, it starts vaping more but it gets harsh, then it eventually starts hitting fine. I can only squonk very lightly in order to consistently keep it hitting decent. This was with the Grand, I tried it on the Mini & got the same result.
With the Cisco, if I squonk to the point where juice flows into the catch cup it still hits great with no decrease in vape. So I figured I would try removing the bridge on the atty I got from Reo. But before I do I just want to make sure. I already removed the mesh that's over the brindge, same result. If I understand it correctly the bridge is the part that is under the mesh that I removed & I must remove that too? And the coil & wick should be exposed under that, correct? I'm starting to think it may be the same as it seems like the coil doesn't heat up strong enough as if the battery was dying.
What do you guys & gals prefer for Reos, bridged or unbridged? I just placed another order for two more Ciscos, another bridged as a spare & an unbridged to try for myself. I use full VG only (or as full as I can get), no PG for me.
Thanks for any help & putting up with another noob.

And nice work jumping ahead. In our house we spent an ungodly amount of money trying anything and everything.
Boy am I glad those days are over.
