Hello all!

Just started vaping about a month ago.

Started off with the eVic VT + Subtank mini till my eVic died on me.

Went out to purchase the IPV4S and the Atlantis V2 tank and am loving it!

Just got myself a SX Mini M Class and the Smok TFV4 tank + the milkman 99% VG 6mg juice.

Cloud production for this juice wasn't as much as expected even on 110 watts and the vanilla + milk flavor makes me want to throw up after a couple of minutes of vaping. Its way too creamy!

Did a little research online and it seems that asides from VG content, every juice has a particular temp that brings out its full flavor; thereafter, any increase in voltage/wattage doesn't do much and makes it hit harder.

I'm thinking of purchasing the Uwell Crown tank as well as the new and upcoming Sense Cyclone tank to give TC vaping a shot. Do you think its worth the try?

I'm confused as to what you're actually looking for.

More power or temperature control does not necessarily relate to better tasting juice, nor to a bigger hit or vapor production. Maybe learn how to tweak the setup you have already before spending hundreds of dollars on more gear. Just my :2c:

Maybe creamy flavors are not for you. Or, try a creamy flavor from a different brand. I'd rather try different flavors out than spending all of my money on new gear. Finding the "right" flavors are probably more important than the gear you use. Also my :2c:

I'm looking for a setup that has the best vapor production and flavor.

RDA's are out of the question as vaping is illegal at where I stay and I don't have the time to drip and vape as well since I'm always travelling around.

50/50, 60/40 juices seems to produce just as much vapor as my 99% vg milk man e-juice but they're making me cough because of the PG content. And I can't seem to find any Malaysian made e-juice with 99% vg content so I'll have to look into the US juices that are available but they all seem to contain vanilla or some sort of milky flavoring which makes me want to throw up after a while. They're simply too rich for my liking.

Also, the SX-mini setup so far doesn't seem to be able to provide enough power for the sub-ohm tanks I'm using asides from my subtank mini.

I got better flavor with kanthal than in temp control. I tried the Milk Man. White bottle correct? There are 2 different milk mans that I know of. If it's the white bottles, it's all hype and not that good.

Too high of watts ruins e-juices to me. You don't need high watts for clouds. Here is a video of me. First cloud. 0.5 ohms and 50w. Second one. 100w at 0.2 ohms in the TFV4. Look like the same right? I'm vaping 80vg/20pg 4mg nicotine unflavored.

6mg is very high for 100 watts.

I think so too! I'm getting a lot of throat hit with the milkman e-juice compared to some of the 6mg malaysian juice I've bought. Tried a couple of US made e-juice at the shop I frequent and it seems to be the case. I'm beginning to wonder if these Malaysian made e-juice actually come with the stated amount of nicotine that's on their label.

Vapor production looks great on both setups! I guess its back to the drawing board with more tweaking.

At lower watts, the milkman seems produce better flavors and lesser throat hit.

I'm also experimenting with RBAs and are surprised at some of the 0.8~1.2 ohm coils I've built as they produce excellent vapors and flavors at much lower wattages.

My happy builds are 0.5-0.8 ohms. I'm only doing 0.2 in that tank because it's a stock coil, but I use the RBA deck more with it.
It's not a warm vape like 100w is but it's a good vape. I can't speak for flavor. I vape unflavored 90% of the time, but vapor production is nice and dense with how I vape. My builds are twisted 28g the majority of times or just 26g if I don't want to twist kanthal.

probably less of a head rush too when you're vaping 6mg at 100w haha :)

How does the RBA deck compare to the tri-coil on your tfv4?

I'm thinking of switching over to the RBA deck and build some higher resistance coils and bring the wattage down for a cooler vape.

Plus vaping equipments and e-juices are hard to come by at where I currently reside and its a huge risk each time I make a supply run.

Do the twisted Kanthals pop and crackle when you fire them up?

I stopped using my subtank mini because it was spitting hot liquid on my tongue each time I vaped and even with the mesh wire trick at the 510 drip tip, its not exactly very enjoyable as the chimney starts getting really wet with all the condensed e-juice.

Compared to ohms it's a lot different, but an easy deck to work on. Plus you have an option for buying a dual coil RBA deck. It wicks well, ONCE you get the wicking right. My first time wicking, I went through a tank of juice in about 10 seconds  flowed right out the airholes haha.

I only get pop and crackles when I first vape after 30 minutes or so. If I continuously use it, then I don't get popping.

@smokyribs, have you seen this forum? SG Vapers.

Make sure you read all the "stickies" as there are special rules you must follow when posting due to the sensitivity of vaping in SG. You won't be able to ask where to buy hardware/juice in SG as your government monitors/reads ECF forum posts. It's all explained here => Newbies Q&A Thread. [PLEASE READ]
