Hi all, 33 years old and been a smoker since 14. I've tried the disposable e-cigs with no luck and then the $20 rechargeable type with slight success, but eventually returned to smoking. Finally decided to shell out the $$ for my first clone. I have a Nemesis mod with a rebuttal type tank. I have Sony vct4 and vct5 battery.

I'm still very new to this so pardon me if I come across as naive or just plain dumb, bear with me, I'm usually a quick learner. Maybe someone came explain the difference between the vct4 and vct5 battery's. Also, the tank came with narrow strips of a wire mesh, what are they for?

Thank you all.

Hey macdaddy welcome to the forum.
The vct4 and 5 batteries are the ones most suggested for the coil builder who is looking to build coils under the 1 ohm impedance that most batteries just can't handle.
The vct5 gives you a little longer vape time having 2500 mah vice vct4 2100 but either is good.
Quck and dirty explanation. Ohms law being E=IR means in your builds the E or voltage of your battery divided by the resistance of your coil gives you the current I that will be drawn from your battery. You don't want the current draw to be higher than the battery is rated for. Otherwise hot battery and possible boom.
Hope this helps and good luck.
