Hi I was looking on internet and noticed a post that referenced facial numbness after vaping. It seemed that everyone that responded had not come across this but I have literally just started vaping and am now experiencing this issue. Can anyone advise?
Welcome.

You could try a different liquid and different device in case you have some kind of allergy, but you'd be better off going to a doctor. Many issues cause facial numbness, unrelated to vaping, and that you just started vaping could definitely just be a coincidence.

Just because something is bizarrely rare doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I’ve never heard of such. I mix my own juice though. I’m wondering about additives or bizarre reactions to common chemicals. Vape juice is a blend of several things and weird stuff might be added to the particular juice you are using or a particular rare reaction to a particular flavoring or other chemical. I might consider a totally different juice. If it was a fruit try something that isn’t a fruit at all. Say, a custard maybe. If it was a salt try unprotonated. (Or the reverse) different maker. Different atty. get away from it and then add things back in till it happens again. Then you will know what is causing it. It’s wildly rare though. I’ve been vaping for over 10 years (2008) and I haven’t heard of it happening. My guess is it’s a particular flavoring mixed with a particular genetic profile, but I’m just throwing stuff at the wall.

thank you for repsonding

I was a very light smoker maybe 3 a day at most.

I am using a disposable PG vape with blueberry ice flavour. I have now tried different flavours but the symptoms have continued, my eyes also itch a bit. maybe I should try VG instead of PG? However this is not available in disposable form as I understand from the shop I bought it from.

I live in Newquay Cornwall and bought the vape form a shop on Victoria Parade.
