Okay, so I bought several new toys to take a look at and play with to expand and take the next step. The first toy that I got is the Kanger ProTank. I matched that up with a new eGo Twist 1000mah VV to play with voltage before I really plunk down the money for a Provari. I have a friend who loaned me a Provari (he has several to play with) and so I'm goofing around with that as well. I also bought a BCC Mega Clear Cartomizer and a SmokTech Telescope Mechanical Mod with an 18650 Battery 2250mah. So my first got it home responses to all of it is that I really like the ProTank. As far as it goes right now, I find the draw to be very comfortable and have no leaks with the tank. The flavor that is produced is definitely different than what I get from my volcano TubeTank's but it is a good flavor. Currently I am liking running the ProTank as it comes directly out of the box at about 3.8 volts. The biggest thing I can say about the ProTank is that it seems to mute the sweet flavor of the juice I have loaded even at the lower voltages, but it enhances the more subtle tobacco flavor of the juice. All in all, not a bad vape at all. I will definitely buy more ProTanks. I am getting similar results with the ProTank on the Provari at the same voltage levels. Definitely getting a Provari of my own very, very soon. Ok, moving on... The BCC Mega Clear Cartomizer is producing kinda a plastic flavor that is not my favorite. I'm going to clean down this tank and load it with another juice to see if that goes away. The BCC comes highly recommended so I need to tinker with it to see if I can get it rocking the way I want it to. Now for the Smok Mech Mod. I can really see what the big deal is with mech mods as this thing makes the low-resistance volcano TubeTanks hit amazing. I honestly did not expect there to be any real difference between the vape off of the various Volcano batteries and the SmokTech, but I have to admit that I am actually pleasantly surprised. The flavor is nearly identical between the Volcano batteries and the SmokTech, but the amount of vape produced seems to be greater with the mech mod than with the others. I put this to the test, side by side with two brand new cartos loaded into two separate tanks and there is a noticeable difference between the vapes. Now I need to let the 18650 battery chage so I can really use the mech mod for a good while. Anyway, there you have it for a new toy vape Monday. :)

I had a tank that produced a plastic flavor too. It was the Totally Wicked tank. The first one they gave me wouldn't open, even with channel lock pliers, and the second one had a horrible plastic taste regardless of how much I cleaned it and what juice I put in. So, I personally gave up on it and counted my losses. I'm in the same boat with new toys as well, only I can't use mine. My fiance has no idea I bought a mod, and i'm holding off until the end of the week and saying I used this weks paycheck to get it. Alas, I have a brand new SmokTech SID sitting in a box in the car waiting to be powered up for the first time.
