New user- need upgrade help

I have been using the eGoT with LR atomizer for about 4 months now and am ready to upgrade but I have no idea where to go from here. I read somewhere that I can use pieces of this model to upgrade. What is the next step up from the eGoT or what can I do to modify/ upgrade the one I have?

Hi nicenurse and welcome to ECF. You may want to think about the E-Power. Depending on how much you wish to spend mods are priced all the way up to $200.00. What do you feel is lacking with your present PV?

Edit: Or a variable volt (VV) model that puts you more in control of the vaping experience.

You could switch to cartomizers. I suggest the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers, aka EMDCC, available at Mad Vapes and other fine vendors. They are LR, hold lots of juice, and they produce. Nothing like the sound of the snap, crackle, and pop of an EMDCC.

An upgrade would be to a mod of some sort.

You can't really keep what you have and upgrade it. You can use cartomizers of different types or atomizers of different types with an adapter. That may be all you want is a change and not an upgrade.

If you truely want an upgrade, then the next logical step is a good 5 volt or variable volt model. They will provide warmer vapor and more consistency. And some will also provide superior battery life. For example the power regulated, variable wattage Darwin easily provides 21 - 35 hours on a charge for heavy vapers. I will suggest two of the best 5 volt and VV models on the market. You can also get inexpensive 5 volt and VV box mods which are a good "entry" to this level but they do not provide the consistency, build quality or warranties of the higher end models:
