Hi All,

I'm Mike and I just signed up for the forum today. I started using Blu disposables about 6 weeks ago, moved "up" to the Blu rechargable after about a week. After about a month one of the batteries failed, so I filled out the Blu online RMA form and I got a replacement in the mail in just a few days. Great customer service! Today a second battery failed and I just didn't feel like going through the process again and waiting a few days to get a new one. I though about just stopping at the convenience store buying another starter kit for $35. But I stopped by a Vape shop instead...

I came home with a joyetech eVic Supreme in stainless steel, a Kangertech Aerotank Mega in stainless steel, a stainless steel "pipe" drip tip, an extra Sony VTC4 battery with an MC1 external charger, a 5-pack of Kangertech 2ohm dual coils, 15ml of 24mg/mL FlavorZ Apple Jacked and 15ml of 24mg/mL FlavorZ Cup of Joe e-juice.

I told the salesman at "Daddy Jak's Vapor Shack" I wanted to upgrade from the Blu. I'm thinking he probably steered me in the right direction, what do you guys think? I haven't had time to really work with the piece yet, I just popped it together, filled up with the Apple Jacked and started puffing!
:vapor:
Glad to be on-board and looking forward to learning a lot here!

Hi Mike,

Sounds like it's working for you. What's not to love about putting it together and having it work right? For most designers, that's their nerdvana. To make something simple enough that a total beginner can get it up and running on the first try.

Great going!

Yes Sir, he did.

Wow! So cool to have so many people chime in so quickly! This looks like a really active forum.

5150Marley - There's a Sony 18650-VTC4 battery that came with the eVic and I bought a second one the same with an external charger. I was swapping Blu batteries 5 or 6 times a day, so I'm hoping with these 2 big (2100mAh) batteries I can reduce that to 1 swap a day or less.

Welcome to the ECF Mike! Great looking setup you've got there.

Indeed! You have found a vape shop with informed staff. Good for you!

You should be able to go an entire day on one of those batteries.

Well, after my first full day with the new rig, I think I've found the sweet spot for me. I'm running it at 4.8v and 11.5w with a 2.5 second burn. I logged a little over 60 puffs and got home from work with 93% battery remaining!!! I think I'm going to get some juice with lower nicotine (12-16mg/mL???) as I've found the 24mg stuff I got to leave me with a little bit of a sore throat.

Thanks for all the comments, I am really confident in my purchase now.

You'll n notice that you'll prolly use more juice when you nic down, at first but then you'll probably level back off. If you nic down too fast you'll see your increase in juice usage go up, it's a balancing act, just something too keep in mind, don't worry about dropping nic too fast, but the lower your nic the better your juice will taste ( less nic to drown out flavor)

Nice setup and good advice from your B&M.

Be prepared.

I started with an eGo kit with cleromizers and thought that would be all I would ever need or want.

Here we are about a year and a half later and I have a bunch of eGo's, Vamo, SID, SVD, Magneto, Nemesis, Kick, protank, several Evod's, three Genesis atomizers, three Kayfuns (and looking to get another).

Have fun on your journey. :)
