Hi new user have been "vaping" for a month now, bought an eGo starter pack with 1300ma batteries that last about a week between charges, visited local vap shop and found out that supposed to change atomizer every 5-7 days or when have burnt taste(yea didn't know lol) but have recently purchased itaste vv 900mah batteries with changeable voltage and wattage, and iclear 16 vw/vv atomizer with 2.1 ohm dual coils and dual wicks (don't know what that all means just putting what info I know down lol) and pleased but have to change out wicks daily cause love it over smoking, smoked for 13 years and this e-cig vapor thing has been wonderful having smoked a real cig in 2 weeks but need to know what I can do so I don't have to keep changing wicks daily. need to know what atomizer/coil/wick/wickless/liquid combos that are they best/efficient for chain smokers/vapors. Oh also using 30mg/24mg nicotine 50/50 vg/pg liquid any and all help is very much welcomed
First, welcome to the forum and glad that vaping is going so well for you. Congrats on ditching the cigarettes!
I'm retired and on a fixed income, so budget is always an issue for me. Also, I want something that is easy to maintain. I'm willing to change heads/coils, and soak them, and re use them for a while, but that's about it.
I've had good luck with Evod toppers. They fit on most ego style batteries, and are pretty inexpensive. That way, I can have several and keep them filled with different juice to rotate throughout the day. I use them until I notice a difference in the flavor, or the amount of vapor, and then I change the coils/heads.
There are a lot of tanks/toppers out there that people like a lot, but they are pretty pricey for me, $12 to $15, versus the Evod for $5 or $6. Also the replacement coils for a lot of tanks are more expensive than the coils for the Evods. Some of the coils cost about $3 each, and you can get a 5-pack of the Evod coils for about $6.
If money is no option for you, you have many choices for tanks, but I'm really pretty happy with my Evods and can stay within my budget that way.
Here is a link to a reliable vendor that has Evods on sale currently. If you use the code ECF at checkout you get 10% off, too. I would also recommend getting a pack of coils:
