Hi,

My name is Bob, and I've been a heavy smoker for over 40 years. I am the kind of smoker that, no matter what I am doing, I have to have a lit cig (weather I smoke it or not), and can go through 2 to 3 packs a day (easy), and on the weekend, I can go through almost a carton. Smoking goes so good with everything I do, I just keep on lighting them up, and letting them burn away.

I saw some people using e-cigs at work, and it sparked my curiosity, so I picked up a cheap starter kit at the tabacco shop where I buy my smokes. I then started doing some research and calling around for a better starter kit, and found the BLU kit at Walgreen's. It worked pretty good, but as I did more research, I found the PROSMOKE and ordered that.

The small e-cigs work pretty good, and I have been able to cut down to a pack a day since I started using the PROSMOKE. My goal is to gradually switch to the e-cigs, but it seems like the cigarrete type e-cigs, although very close, don't quite satisfy as much as a real cigarette.

I decided that I think I need something that packs a little more OMPH, so I just ordered a SILVER BULLET from ALTSMOKE. I am new to all this stuff, so I ordered 2 carts, 2 low res atomizers, 2 6ml tanks, 2 drip tips, 2 batteries, and 1 30ml bottle of Americ 55 24mg liquid.

I figure that should cover all the bases to get me started, and I'm hoping this will have the extra OMPH I need to quit cigarettes.

Anyway, thats my story, and I look forward to what I can learn here.

Bob

Welcome. You didn't mess around going straight to an SB - saved you a lot of $$$ in the long run. You did get get extra batteries and a reliable charger(s) though right? I keep between 6-10 batteries in rotation for my mods and use a pair of Xtar WP2 chargers to keep them going.

This is as good a price as I've seen on these chargers and they work great, poor man's Pila...

Hi first congrats I smoked for 20 years not smoking anymore. Spent a lot of money on ecigs trying to find one that packs a punch so I know the feeling. After buying 2 different e cigs. Bought a unit called the provari from provape.com. It's a little pricy but I was spending that much a month on cigarettes anyway. Now its like exhaling clouds. Check out the reviews on utube. Have been cigarette free now for over a month. Don't even think about cigs anymore. Good luck.

No joke, as I was reading bc's post i was thinking the same, this dude needs a MOD. You'll never regret it (maybe only why you didn't get 2 of em). Good batteries as pointed out are pretty important as well. The way you "did" smoke it'll cover that pretty damn quick.

Enjoy being able to take a fuller breath of oxygen again, i know i do.

Hi Bob, welcome to ECF and congrats. I also smoked for 40+ yrs and bought a Megalodon- a similar device to the SB and that's what did it for me- nothing like true 3.7 volts. If refilling becomes a hassle you may want to try these:

or the more expensive but rebuildable clearomizers:
GotVapes Vision ViVi Nova™ V2.5 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
Happy Vaping and the Best of Luck.

Thank you. Yes, I got one extra basttery and charger, so that should be enough to get me started and have one charging while using the other one. If the unit works out like I think it will, I will order more stuff.

I started with a v2 kit and it was okay. No real complaints. After buying the Provari a good charger and some aw imr 18650's with some good carts and juices I have found myself not only not looking back but preferring the ecig. I'm a new ex smoker and I occasionally still get cravings (when my friends are smoking outside) but there's nothing like a good flavorful vape!
