Hi all,

Was walking down Neal St in Covent Garden today, right near the Carhartt shop and noticed a new vape shop so I popped in. They seemed like nice folk, had some ok bits of kit etc but I was after VG juice, and currently they only have PG, but they will look into stocking some VG.

Definitely in a prime location anyway. So if you guys are in London and need emergency juice, you now have a store.

I wonder if it's the one I commented on earlier today....?

Yeah it is, I popped in today. As a new vaper I wanted to be able to see all the equipment in person as well as browse flavours, and hopefully be able to try some cool flavours before purchasing. It's also very close to my work so would be able to just pop in and get new ones when I felt like it.

But this shop seems to be aimed at getting in the higher market and the new "switching class" customers, they really only had a few devices on display which are in glass boxes (with no labeled prices). The devices looked pretty good, so his customers are probably going to be happy, and they have him they can come to when they have problems. He had flavours available for trying but at £9.95 for 20ml I figured it was a bit more than I wanted to pay. Looking at his site, you can see most of the stuff you can get a bit cheaper elsewhere but you wouldn't get the person-to-person assistance a lot of people who don't have the time or inclination to learn can just go to. Also he seemed nice enough.

His site is V-Revolution | e-Cigarettes | London and you can see some pics of his shop there too if you are interested.

It is expensive for unbranded ego sets. £60 ($90) for something you can get for £18 ($27) online. Although I think I have been spoilt on pricing now.

On the plus side, they do sell ego type kits which is far better for a new vaper than some crappy overpriced disposable or proprietary cart kit. I am sure newbies will go away fairly happy with their purchases.

Guys/gals.

I went to the shop today and what a load of rubbish... Over priced was expected given the location, however rude foreign staff who would only let me smell the e juice from the sample cartomisers that we're sitting there all dirty to which strangers had their dirty mouths on.

The juice smelt horrible and that was unusual as most strawberry flavours at least smell of strawberry.

The shop had a very limited supply and even thought explained I have a lava tube and a evic she insisted I have a look at her poorly made USB charge only cheap mods...

Sorry to say a bad experience I have read a few reviews and went with an open mind.. But honestly save yourself the hassle it's easier to order on line.. Trust me nothing worth visiting for.. Unless your out of juice and don't mind spending £10 for 15ml bottle of poor quality juice

Any way must try and get my AGA T2 firing its a nightmare...

Good luck with the aga... i struggle with mine too!

I was just looking at the website and thought that the buenos aries looked interesting... nice design, but £100 for a device that comes with one 400mah battery?!?!?! ermmmm... NO!

U.K.
It's a joke, rather than a shop. Girlfriend dropped her ego with a Davide Mini, we were in the area and decided to go in and get her a clearomizer until I order a decent tank. We walk in, it took them a good couple of minutes to grasp what we want, until I had to actually point a finger at what they should be showing. Then we asked for a usb charger (for her to have it on the go), told them we need a charger that will fit an ego, that did nothing, said "it's a 510 thread" they looked like I was talking binary code, at which point the dude goes "let me see it and I will find it" whilst pointing at my mod =/ Things there are well over-priced, poor selection, and the level of knowledge is minimal.

Wow - why would you even want to run a store without knowledgeable staff and some variety for different levels of vaper?
The B&M I walked into and got started with is run by vapers, they have a decent variety of stock from starter kits to advanced mods and attys, they're dearer than online, but not stupidly so, if you want something specific they'll try and source it for you, they don't know everything but a fair bit, and if they don't know an answer they go out of their way to find out for you.
I don't live near there anymore but pop in when I can and order bits from them now and again that I could save a few quid elsewhere, but don't mind spending the little extra with them when I can because their customer service goes above and beyond in my eyes - that's how B&M shops should be IMO.
I've walked into ones like this ones been described and walked straight back out (after having a giggle that with my limited knowledge I know more than they do about their stock - one place didn't even know what nic strength their juices were!)
Anyway, sorry for the ramble, I'm just astonished that people think they can cash in with rubbish service, lack of knowledge and poor limited stock - what an awful experience it would be for someone contemplating the switch to vaping and somewhere like that's there first port of call. I doubt I'd be vaping had my first foray been somewhere like that!
