Somewhere out there
I just filled a plastic 30ml bottle (I don't remember which DIY supplies vendor I got it from) with exactly 30ml of water as measured in a graduated cylinder. 30ml comes just to the shoulder of the, just where the curved part starts.

I think most vendors overfill a bit, maybe to avoid the impression of being short on volume.

EDIT: Neither of the bottles in question have the same amount in them. Who know's?

So you have 2 not full bottles, each with different amounts in them? This doesn't exactly support the "well the bottles actually hold 32mls" theory. Kindof just looks like they were being sloppy.

I suppose you could get a graduated cylinder or syringe to measure exactly what's inside..

But who wants to hassle with that? A vendor ought to know better and just sell you a FULL bottle from the jump, because a NOT full bottle makes a poor impression.

Was the bottle even sealed when you bought it? For all you know, someone just decided to have a little drip out of your bottle.
