Well, I have been vaping now for about 3 weeks. I have to admit that I'm incredibly excited by the community I've seen supporting these miracle devices. I'm an Engineer by trade, so my .... retentive side spent a ton of time researching the right product for me. I went with a 510 kit w/ PCC as my first step into vaping.

At first I was a bit disappointed by the flavor and the vapor I was getting, but after getting some juice from johnsoncreek, things went from pretty bad to wonderful.

I have a few questions, that I was hoping someone could answer. I've read a ton on the forums, and haven't really seen some answers to these 5V specific questions :).

1. Good USB Passthrough - I saw on some other threads people suggesting the 5V option for the 510 from puresmoker. Are those any good? I heard the regular Joyce510 3.7V option is horrible.

2. 5V atty? - Do I need a 5V atty if I get a 5V source? Can I use the atty's that came with my 510 kit?

3. Better battery option for the 510 - I'm not really looking into modding, for fear I'll hurt myself...haha. I saw several references to the Tornado/Ego or Jaunty. Do all these use the 510 attys? Are these 5V or 3.7v? Where can I buy them, I've looked a most of the places i found looked shady :(.

4. Juices - Do I need specific juice for a 5V vape? Will my Johnsoncreek work? Do you recommend any specifically, or have any sites I can check out :)!

5. Benefits - Should I just stick with 3.7? What do you gain from 5v. Some say better throat hit, some say more vapor, some say more flavor. Some say its the same. I saw one review on the 510 that said everything tastes like cardboard. I'm just wanting to get the best experience and learn as much as I can.

Thanks in advance all you wonderful people. I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing in the future :D.

I'll try to answer what I can. You can use pretty much any atty other than Low Resistance atties @ 5V. The Tornado/eGo does use a 510 atty and it runs at 3.7V. You do not need any specific juice for a 5V vape. Stick with your 510. If you want to a 5V experience you can buy LR atomizers from nhaler. They just got them in today but you better hurry because they're selling quick.

As for the best USB PT for a 510. I'd like to know that too!

Edit: I should note that the LR atomizers should only be used with 3.7 devices with bigger batteries such as the eGo.
