New Vaper, 6 weeks in and haven't had a cigerette since!

Love my new habit, so many benefits and am enjoying learning all there is to learn.

Bought a Captain PD270 and a Horizontech Arco tank. Preferred the A6 coil but had to use A4 for past month as local supply had ran out of the A6's. Got some on the way so that will be good. Burnt out a few coils along the way, had to learn about that.

Have started DIY juice. Here in Australia we have to import our Nic from overseas anyway so figured I'd give the DIY a go. So much cheaper.

My first recipe which was FA Tobacco and FA vanilla was disgusting. Have been on a FA Cappuccino and FA Vanilla mix for about 5 weeks which I like.

Have ordered a few more concentrates and will be experimenting.

Oh and getting VG into my 30ml bottles was an issue, have ordered some 14 Gauge blunt needles to assist with that, was having to use a 1ml saringe with no needle to ad 21ml of VG.

vaping 70/30 VG/PG with 5mg Nic and am satisfied.

HI and welcome......just a hint, the 14 gauge needle will fight you on a syringe with high vg. Better off getting bigger syringes, such as a 20 ml or 30ml, stopping it with a luer lock stopper and pouring it into the bottle. Personally, I use the larger mouth 30ml bottle. Easier to work with.

Yes, I found that out last night doing a mix. Also got some bigger mouth 30ml bottles and they were no problem straight from the Syringe, no needle. For the smaller ones, I drew up the VG with no needle, then added the 14Ga needle to dispense into the small mouth bottles, little messy but worked pretty good.

Thanks for the welcomes. Stoked(Aussie for really happy) with my new batch of mixes. Especially the CAP Boston Crème Pie V2 and the CAP Labyrinth. Great after just one day of steeping and a quick speed steep in warm water. Looking forward to seeing how they age.

Did 2 30ml bottles each of;
Capella
Boston Cream Pie V2
Chocolate glazed doughnut
Flavour Art
Labyrinth
Chocolate
Cookie
Liquid Barn
Crème Brule
All 5% with 5Mg nic and 70/30.
Disappointed to see that the Crème Brule and Chocolate glazed doughnut have Acetoin and/or Acetyl Propionyl in them. Thanks to E-liquid-recipes for that.
Think I'll avoid them in future. Have tried the Boston Crème Pie (awesome) Chocolate glazed Doughnut (very nice) and Labyrinth so far(Great) all on just a quick speed steep and one day.

Have never tried a fruity flavour, that's next.

They sound great, I'm glad you are enjoying them. I really like almost all fruits (except citrus, and I cannot yet get myself to try banana. I like bananas but don't usually love "banana" flavoring).

I hope they get even better as they age
