Hi everyone!

I'm VamoV5, I'm from Holland, 25 years old and new to vaping.

Until now, I used to be a pack-a-day smoker of 22 to 25 cigarettes a day, some days even more for about 11 years.
About 15 days ago, I bought a MOD, and as my name suggests I'm a proud owner of a AVP Vamo V5 with a Kanger ProTank 3.
I'm glad to announce that I haven't smoked or even thought about a single cigarette since the moment I bought the Vamo V5, which is quite a thing since I thought that it would more or less work, but really, it changed everything for me.

I chose to buy a decent MOD instead of a joyetech eGo-CC or eMode which I was previously looking at because I figured that I would be best off buying the real deal immediately instead of first buying a smaller and lighter model that would be OK for me as a pack-a-day smoker, but eventually would lead me to buy a MOD anyway as it may or may not satisfy 100%. My motto is: "buying cheap eventually leads to buying expensive", which has saved me lots of money with other products because I've been disappointed many many times before when I thought going the cheap route would be best.

P.S. I'm getting tired of these news articles claiming that vaping is just as bad as smoking cigarettes. I think that if you're using good E-liquids made by good brands which only contain what it says on the box with no added chemicals, you're fine...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I'm really loving the Protank 3 with dual coil, however I have a tip for people that experience draw problems.
For example, I really liked the 2.0Ohm coils and had a perfect draw every time, but I only had 2 and I accidentally burned one, the other one started to taste funny after a while. So I replaced it with an 1.8Ohm coil, which gave me no draw at all, which was frustrating as they're the only ones I have left.

However, with the Protank 3, there's a piece supplied in the box which connects on your MOD to make the Protank 3 sit a bit more sturdy. I figured that if you just don't screw it on the thread all the way, but keep it unscrewed a few turns and then screw on the Protank 3 on the mod, it will screw tight to a solid connection. Now you will have a slightly larger gap for air to suck in and I didn't have any problems since! For me, this added piece now functions as an air-regulator, for free! :D

Congratulations! Your story is similar to mine only I have a been analog cigarette free for a little while longer. Its amazing how simple it was to quit. My first mod was an ego starter kit my brother gave me, best present ever. By now I have evolved and equipped my self with bigger better hardware :) In fact vaping has become a way of life for my family and I . Father had been smoking analogs, pack a day, for 54 years! till a few months ago when my older brother gave him an itaste vv/mini protankII. He loves it.

New to ECF forum. Not new to vaping. Glad to have become a member here!
