Hello everyone I started vaping about 1 month ago and I am really enjoying it so far only about 2 packs int the last month instead 1+ pack a day of regular cigs mostly vaping all day now.

It's a very tedious and expensive new replacement I started with the ego-T and the carto died about 1 week into it that was a real disapointment and I find I get frustrated alot when my E-cig give me problems still having big withdrawals.

Stiched to stardust Carto and so far those are my favorite they require quite a bit of maintenance but seem the most reliable and portable.

I got the DCT V2 tanks still havent gotten those to work properly cut a slit with the dremmel wheel and still cant seem to get the juice to soak up in the filler. These are a big disapointment too still working on them.

Got the Stone III vision tought it would of been a dream but darn thing seems to flood all the time. Looked on the forums and saw that the rubber condom seems to be most of the problem mine was burned in the silicone. So I took a stardust condom and cut 2 little slits for the wick seems to not flood anymore but somtimes have to be real carfull not to get dry hits. Still work in progress but starting to like this carto.

Still find I'm missing out on alot I see people with big clouds of vapour on youtube and i'm only getting 1/4 of that still looking for more flavour and hit think my next step is a VV mod probably will go with the lavatube/night rider.

The forums are alot of help but there is just so much a person can read everynight and apply it

Welcome to the forum!

Have you tried basic low resistance cartomizers? I think they're the easiest things going although they don't hold as much, and the flavor is better to me than tanks which seems to mute flavors a bit. They'll work great on your ego battery- either boge 2.0 or smoktek 1.7 cartos.

What type of e-liquid are you using? If it's straight PG, a liquid with some VG will give you more vapor.

Hello and welcome, Trial and error is sorta what it's all about, their is no perfect solutions as of yet. I started with a Tankomizer system which ended up being to much hassle for too little results. I switched to CE2 cartos after the failed Tankomizer setup. They worked great for me once I got passed the learnig curve, now I cut my own CE2's and put them in tanks( MAP,Torpedo). Good flavor and vapor and can be cleaned and back in business in about 10 minutes. I'm also getting them to last about a month or so which is pretty cool.

Welcome to the forums and sorry to hear that you are having a rough start. I promise you that it will get better and you will be vaping like a champ in no time! Keep asking questions and do some research and trying new things. It is overwhelming to take in all sorts of information on all sorts of devices and liquids, but stick with it and it will soon be second nature.

I feel your pain. I went through most of that myself, except for the ego part. I've settled on just a couple devices now, so maybe I can offer some tips.

The Vision Stone 3 condom burning part can be solved by clipping that little ring that fits inside the ceramic cup. Just use a pair of manicure scissors and clip it nearly flush. You need to make sure that you fit it down tight on the cup. Also, if you look at the coil, you'll see two tiny "pigtails" sticking up. Bend them back down to the level of the coil. That solved the burning issue and the flooding problem as well, since it makes the condom fit tighter on the cup. Actually, i haven't had much problem with the VS3 flooding. The VS2 was pretty bad about that though. So far, until I try the Vivi Nova, it's my favorite tank system. I gave up entirely on the cartomizer type tanks. Too much hassle dremelling slots or paying ridiculous prices for pre-punched cartos that always have undersized holes, and they don't taste nearly as good as the VS3.

If you like the Stardusts, I highly recommend the Fluxomizers. For a long time I didn't use CE2 based cartos. I use thicker juices and always had a problem with dry hits. I got a pack of Fluxos a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier. They work straight out of the box with no modifications. They wick well and taste great. When they get low, I do need to give them a tip now and then, but there is absolutely zero leaking from either the top or the bottom. I can vape with these things upside down in bed without getting juice in my mouth.

So now, I've narrowed it down to 3 devices. Fluxomizers, VS3 and a couple good dripping attys. If the Vivi Nova works out, I'll be set and I can bring this 2 year hunt to a close.

I have had really good luck with the 510 tanks, both as far as vapor and throat hit. Have you tried the tanks and atomizers designed for the ego? I have had good luck with those.

Just got in some fluxomizers for my KR808 batteries this week and have been really impressed as far as flavor and throat hit.

I have gotten away totally from standard cartomizer-based solutions. They seem to me to be good for the first dozen hits but quickly fade in flavor and throathit after that.

I have the Lo-Res version of the Stardust Vision V2 and V3 just in so far I had the best of luck with those. Just have to be cleaned often.

Yeah I had good hopes with the VS3 system will tinker with it more when I have more time. The DCT V1 Now I have one that floods the one that has two holes punched on each side and the other Dries up too fast and does not seem to suck juice the one with the dremell slot. Might buy a 5 pak of carto and try again just dont get why I have so much trouble with it.

I will have to look up the Fluxomizers if I can get them in Canada. Broke the wick of my VS3 trying to clean it probably because it was burnt I dont know still trying to take the darn thing appart will have to check a better youtube Video.

Thanks for all the help I have lots to learn Just received alot of goodies today like some 36 mg PG and VG Flavourless juice and some Different flavours Also bought a used Lavatube/Knight Rider.
