New Vaper from Australia Here

Hi guys, wanted to say hi and introduce myself. This looks like a pretty great forum with lots of info and helpful people! I've just started out vaping. Been a smoker for around 18 years but not really heavy. Only 3-4 some days but pretty heavy once I drink. Got onto e-cig thanks to a mate that bought a Kanger Mini Pro tank 3. Got onto the Indoor Smokers channel and went from there.
As I'm starting off I went with something basic, the Halo Triton Tank kit with Tribeca, Freedom juice and Torque 56 liquids, 650mah batteries but I also got a variable voltage battery which is cool. Loving it so far (on 12mg) and haven't touched an analogue in nearly two weeks. The only issue is freight from the US to AUS becomes costly ;)
Look forward to learning lots here, cheers!

Thanks for the welcome guys!!

I'm liking the Halo with the VV battery but am finding the wicks in the tanks get gunked up really easy even when trying to keep them mostly full. I've already cleaned them out a few times each and I've ordered some replacement coils from Halo with a higher resistance than the ones they came with. Apart from that issue I'm pretty happy with them!

Now I'm looking into what else is out there but it's SO confusing!!! haha

At this time I'm considering going a Vision Spinner 2 with either a Nautilus, Protank Mega or Mini tank for the next step. Maybe not right away but sometime in the near future. I'd like something that doesn't clog up as easy or does that happen with all tanks regardless of brand?

Also I must say I do like the Halo juices but may have to look for a supplier closer to me (Australia) so I don't have to keep buying in bulk and getting them shipped from the States.

Congratulations on making the switch! I'm down in Melbourne working and am really surprised I haven't seen another Vaper! From what I can find there are two Vape shops here in town but neither are open when I'm off work. I really feel for you Aussies! Vaping is a bit more difficult for you than it is back in the States. Here's to you and your Vaping journey[emoji482]

Haha yeah it's a fair bit harder that's for sure! I won't let it deter me though :)

Hello and welcome to the forum froidy. Glad to have you here!:)

Once you get in your first 5 posts and the server updates at :25 past the hour you will be able to post in the Australia - New Zealand Forum. Read all the "stickies".

Perhaps you will find lots of information on where to look for hardware and juice.:)

Hello froidy Im in Perth and I have ordered from these companies for E-liquid. All I thought were good priced for delivery.
Halo - Nicoticket - Mount Baker vapor - ITC vapes - Heathers Heavenly vapes - Nicquid - Highbrow Vapor - Crystal canyon vapes .
Ordered hardware from World of Vape - Vapenificent
Australian Stores ordered some hardware from Steam-e-cigs - vapeking - House of vape.

Also ordered from fast tech ( many say slow delivery) mine took 14-16 days but one load of clearomisers were rubbish.
Ordered from eBay but haven't got the parcels yet.

Most orders from the USA take about 2 weeks but some have been faster with 7-8 days the fastest.
Orders from Australia about 7-8 days or once was 3 days when i chose express post.

Stores in Australia don't sell liquid with nicotine and the ones that do most likely are getting it from China unless they state otherwise.
