New vaper from Germany

Hi,
just a short introduction. I am a new vaper from Germany, new here and new to vaping.

An English friend of mine told me he was "vaping" since January. I had not the faintest idea what he meant and googled. Having been a smoker of 40+ years, I was curious and went to a store near work, left with 100+€ less in the purse and a Biansi iMist starter set and a selection of juices in my pocket. This is now 6 weeks ago and I have not smoked a lot of analogs since, I mean I finished my last two packs in the first week and am now down to less than one a day, down from 25. My nic is 12 mg/ml, down from 18 in the first two weeks, that appears to be OK for me. But I can't go any lower, which does not bother me at all.

After five days, I put the iMists away and, after another week with Kanger Protank Minis and Aspire nautilus, all this went into retirement and I completely switched to rebuildables. My main machines are two Flash-e-Vapor V3, one on a Sigelei 20W and the other on a GUS Lord mechmod. And one Kayfun mini 2.1 on a spinner, and, my problem child, an Erlkönigin on a small Vision Slip mod. I am particularly loving the FeV and the GUS, which are extremely well built.

Hi Papp, Sounds like you have the vape bug and it's hit you hard... but anything that gets you away from the cigarette demon is all good ... 50 year smoker here...and not looking back...

Vape bug, yes. But I believe I am now reasonably well equipped. I have nothing left on my wishlist, perhaps a small dripper for tasting new liquids.
I am so happy I don't have to smoke anymore that I don't regret spending more than 1000 bucks so far. And I will hopefully hit break-even in two months.

Congratulations! That's a fast transition from new vaper to rebuildables, but as it appears you've discovered, well worth it.

The Flash-e-Vapor V3 is also my favourite RTA. It outperforms my Kayfuns, Squape and Aqua in every way IMO! Also the customer service is simply excellent! I'm going to order the 9.5ml tank extension to go with it.

However, I wick mine slightly differently to the wicking supplied in the box and recommended by Artur. I pack the deck well with cotton and run a silica wick through the coil down into the well. I then use one silica and one cotton feeder wick again running down into the well. It's nigh on impossible to get a dry hit using this system because the well acts as a sort of reserve reservoir. Even if your chain vamping like a maniac!!
