As stated, I'm still new to the vaping scene. Like most, I started to give up cigarettes. But I would like a better understanding of the machine I'm using, and I have interest in upgrading soon, and would like to like to learn about modifications and building your own setup eventually. So this seemed like a decent place to go :D
Welcome!!!
What set up are you using?

I got an Ego-T battery and a couple no name clearomizers three months ago. Up until then, I've only had a few varieties of the disposable vaporizers, which were...eh, and I never gave up cigarettes with them. It definitely does the job, but I've tried a few friends larger and higher quality vaporizers, and was very impressed with taste! The large volume of vapor is kind of cool too, almost like hookah. Have heard good things about dripping as well. So I guess I'm really in the market for an atomizer for that, or perhaps a whole new setup.

Welcome to ecf.

Do you know what it was your friends were using? Is that something you might be interested in? There are so many products available now, it's like presents at Xmas. Some things to think about are does size matter is the battery dept for you? What are your needs as far as length of time between charging the battery? Just food for thought.

:)

I have no idea what the models were, sorry. Two were the larger cylindrical kinds, one was the box style. I'd prefer something a little less bulky than most of the box mods, but I've considered getting one, and just keeping my ego-t or something similarly sized for when out and about. Ego-t is around 600 mAh, correct? Definitely no less than that. Battery life usually isn't an issue, but I work long shifts, and charging opportunities don't always come about, so I've had it die on me a couple times.

For a long battery life consider an MPV2. It can last a couple of days before re-charging depending on how much you vape. And you can charge it with the same charger as your cell phone. It's kind of a box mod, sort of. About the size of a pack of smokes and you can turn it off when in your pocket.
:)

eta: or an Itaste vv 3.0....smaller, more like an ego-type but, battery doesn't last as long, but you can charge it with a cell phone charger also.
