New vaper, mostly saying "hi"

Hey all. I found my way on here a few months back, did some readin', and promptly got entirely overwhelmed by the sheer size and volume of this forum and the intricacies of vaping.

I read enough to pick out a Bloog kit as a decent starter kit for my desired vaping style. I only smoked 1/2 pack a day on analogs, so though I've been doing it for 15 years, I didn't need something I could chain vape constantly.

I've got set up with 2 of their 78 mm batteries, a mini PCC, a couple chargers, and I'm finding their RY4 to be simply amazingly delicious. I have tried a few (5) flavors from VaporGod, but I haven't found anything I'd even want to occasionally vape if Bloog's RY4 is available.

Anyhow, I'm about a month in, I've had a couple analogs here and there, and have no interest in going back. The last times I tried 'em they tasted wretched, and that was a couple weeks in to vaping. I've been entirely analog-free for... 3 weeks now, I guess. Overall vaping for a few more weeks than that. This has gone better than I could have hoped.

The only questions I've got - and these may be better questions for the Bloog forum, but I can't post there yet - is if anyone can recommend a good way of carrying around all this stuff? I'd hoped the Mini-PCC would allow me to contain some of this stuff, but I still end up needing to have at least that, full of a battery and a couple cartos, and my "current" PV fumbling around loose.

Also, I used my new PCC only once so far - when fully charged, it seemed to be able to juice up one dead battery one time, and have just a tiny amount of power left in it. This seems kinda pointless. Why wouldn't I just carry an extra battery, if that's all the good the PCC is? It seems like it'd be a hell of a lot smaller and cheaper to go that route...

That's all. thanks, and hello!

Welcome!

Hmm - that was a freshly charged PCC? I would ask Bloog about that. I thought most PCC cases could usually charge 3, sometimes 4 times.

Good choice w/ Bloog - KR808D-1, identical to SmokelessImage Volt and Halocigs G6, same threading as the more original model at Vapor4Life. I do like the Bloog cartos - just finishing my first after using it a week.

It was a freshly charged mini-PCC, yeah. And now that you mention it, the math is simple enough to show you're right. The replaceable battery in the PCC is labelled as 1000mAh. A 78MM battery is 200-300mAh. That means there ought to be 3-4 "fills" in there, by my logic. I'll try it again to be sure, then contact Bloog if I'm still not getting decent performance.

Thanks for the thoughts, welcome, and encouragement!

As a female - since I use a waistpouch for my normal stuff (keys, credit cards, junk), I carry the ecig stuff in a small ethnic woven cross-shoulder purse - 2 slim models w/ spare charged battery each, PCC for one of the models, and a fully charged 650mah Riva 510 battery (3.7v kind) plus about 6 small bottles of juice. I have a full charging setup at work with a charging cable for each model I use.

Welcome Valhad, and congrats on making the switch to vaping!

I would definitely contact Bloog about your pcc - it should be holding a charge for longer than just one battery. I'm sure they'll fix things up for ya. Most reputable vendors are really good about making things 'right' for their customers.

As for a carrying case, Smokeless Image just added a nice case to their accessories line up last night. Might be exactly what you're looking for.

Cheers!
