Hey all. I am looking to get into vaping. Here is what I'm working with.

-I have never smoked or vaped. I want to get into vaping not for the nicotine. I want to start for other reasons. (Solving my hand to mouth cravings)

-What I want to answer is:
1. What vapes would be a good one for a beginner who wants.
- Large vapor, 0 mg, charge to last a full day, tank style, variable air flow, battery indicator, variable voltage, and regulated.

I have found this matrix vape. But I have no idea if how sub ohming works or if it would work for me?

At the end of the day I want to spend no more than about $100 on everything I need including some flavors.

Thanks!

I rarely subohm, so I'll leave others to make suggestions in that area. I will suggest that, whatever sounds best to you, compare prices at Vapecrawler.

And, this a good place to look for Labor Day sales.

Im not sure I want to use a sub ohm right off the bat? How is it different? I defiantly also want a regulated vape.

Sub Ohm = more vapor. And, I don't know how that would be without nic. With nic, it can pack quite a throat hit, and lots of folks get juice with higher VG (PG has more throat hit) and lower nic than they used previously.

One other consideration is that sub ohming generally means higher juice consumption.

Most sub ohm tanks are designed to be lung hitters as opposed to mouth to lung. In my experience, you don't get the same flavor on a lung inhale as you do with a mouth to lung. So if you're looking for flavor I wouldn't look into sub ohm as your first tank. On the flip side, most sub ohm tanks produce quite a bit more vapor depending on the wattage that you vape at.

Subohming can give you thicker vapor. But, since you would like something regulated, the resistance will not matter as long as you're using a high performing atomizer. A good entry unit would be the Kanger Subox Mini kit. The tank that comes with this device has atomizers in multiple resistances. Though, you will have to buy good batteries and a well made external charger. That should be within your $100 budget.

Great. So besides sub ohming. What can a beginner get who is a cloud chaser?

istick 30W with a Nautilus mini. Since taste is subjective, find a sampler kit. For real vaping on the cheap, try unflavored.

[EDIT] The Aspire CF atty with Atlantis may be a good start. It is sub-ohm however.

Thanks. I looking for a good amount of taste with also a good amount of vapor for a beginner vaper. Also regulated, variable voltage and a tank.

Great Suggestion...I started with a vision spinner II and Nautilus mini. Now use the istick 30 watt but with the kanger tech nano sub ohm tank. The combination of the istick 30w with the Nautilus mini will give you good vapor and flavor. You can also upgrade to a sub ohm tank in the future because the istick 30w has the power for a sub ohn tank. One thing to consider is the ohms of the coils you choose with the Nautilus mini if you go that route. Less ohms require more power....more vapor and flavor. It's not very complicated, just takes a little getting used to and reading different forums! Good luck..!:thumb:

Thank you. I am currently looking at this Kanger Sub ohm mini starter kit. Does this come with a battery? If not what one is a good pick? Thanks

Oh wow thank you!
So for batteries most of us will recommend the Samsung 25R. There are two different versions. The light blue 25R's are being phased out since there is a new version which have a green wrap. The green 25R's are said to have a better life cycle. They're the same price so its up to you which one you like more.

These are 20 amp CDR batteries and are regarded as some of the best. Please do as much research as possible.

Last but not least, a charger. This is what I use and if anyone wants to recommend a charger that they think is better then please do. Nitecore D2 Digicharger - Chargers - Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers
Never leave batteries charging unattended.
