Hello fellow Vapor heads. Great forum and even better posters.
I have tried quitting smoking many times. Longest period was almost 2 years. Shortest, several hours. In fact, most of the times I quit, only lasted a few hours to a few days. 3 Days ago I got my joye 510 manual. Haven't picked up an analog yet!! I am loving the e-cig. Since I never smoked in the house, itis great to browse the net and enjoy a good vape. I got it from ecigexpress and got the basic ejuice's. Blueberry, grape, menthol and vanilla. Really like the blueberry......vanilla, not so much. 24mg. There is so much more to this hobby, and will take me sometime to learn all the tricks, abbreviations and so much more. I have a few questions.

1) Where and what kind of juice do you recommend for the 510? As I stated, I am just a beginner and want to ease into it, not ready to be a chemist just yet. I like the berry flavors, need some nicotine and like to get a nice TH, or at least the best TH from my 510.

2) I am already realizing that I am going to need to upgrade, as I work out on the road (UPS driver) and really do not have time to be tapping off with juice, changing batteries and the like. I am thinking that the ego-t is probably a good fit, but not sure. I like the 510, but wouldn't mind a little more of a throat hit (feeling more in my lungs .....maybe more vapor?) Kind of looking for something that I can fill (cheaply) throw on the dash and hit it between stops. I don't want to spend money on cartos....or at least until I master the cartridges. I like the 510 for the size, I don't want anything to bulky.

Thanks for all the wisdom I have already gained from the boards and a prethanks for any responses I may receive.

Well I am new and use the KR808D-1 and really like it and the carto's. I can recommend it. The carto's are easy to refill in my opinion. I usually prefill in the morning and carry 2 or 3 with me during the day and usually just end up using one or two in an 8 hour day depending on how much I actually get to use it. I am out on the road a lot as well and I can be charging one battery while using the other. If I take a few hits at a time and dont chain vap the battery lasts a fairly long time for me. I havent tried a lot of flavors as of yet but do like Cinnamon and peach. Sorry havent tried any of the berry flavors as of yet but plan on it since I too really like some berry flavors.

Thanks everyone!! This hobby is AMAZING and COMPLICATED!! Never, in a million years, did I think there was so much to this ecig. Nic levels, vg pg ratios, manual, autimatic, dipping, tanks, carts, cartos, battery size, usb charger, and on and on and on. It's going to take some time to figure this out. Wish I would of gotten into this in January when I was spending more time at home. I had no clue that I was going to quit smoking 3 days ago. Just bought it more to fill in the gaps when I was in situations where I could easily smoke.

I love the Ego-t. fill it in the morning vape all day. It seems that it would work perfectly for what you are looking for. I vape with it in my car all the time and I drive a stick. My battery lasts me for days. It is way less mess and hassle then my 501. I thought the size of ego batteries would bother me but after a couple of days I didn't even notice they were bigger. The higher the nic level the more th you get. I started with 36mg and am slowly working my way down. (The juices I'm waiting on are 24mg) Try pineapple or strawberry. I like spearment and cinnomon b/c they make my breath fresh. I don't regret spending the money on it at all! :)

Hello and welcome to ecf. Glad you found us.
first the juices.......fruit flavors are one of my favorites. good choice. imo. I also love vanilla, but these usually require a lot of steeping time.
The 510 pv's are the most popular. If you have looked at an ego-t , that should really do the trick. Easy to use and the battery life usually last a vapor most of the day or sometimes longer.
:)

p.s. At first I consider it a 'hobby' because it took so much time. Time to find what works for you, juices you like, etc. But the reality of it is.....vaping has literally saved my life and I am sure many, many more members will also tell you that.
FreedomSmokeUSA has the best flavor and a wide variety also. http://freedomsmokeusa.com/

Geez, I've tried so many over the past couple years. The best, but not cheapest, I've found is Johnson Creek. MANY agree with this. They have a very professional lab ...clean room, bio suits, etc. Quality control is very high. Then there's the 'home brew' crowd & there are many. I would rec 1st, FreedomSmokeUSA, for price & flavor ...a family owned & operated co. I heard someone here mention Tasty Vapor ...some love their juice, some don't. Personally, I find it harsh.
Juice is highly individual ...a matter of taste. Good tobacco? Frankly most suck. Try Johnson Creek's Red Oak, in Domestic, Tennessee Cured, or Mercado. (or try a Red Oak sample kit with about 6 flavors, including the three I mentioned - nice 3 ml mini glass dropper bottles too)

Hi and welcome to ECF

Juice is very subjective, also there not a particular juice you need for a particular pv. You can use juice from any supplier for your 510. When you choose your juice there a choice of PG/VG ratio, some just have all PG an all VG. Some have a fix ratio. PG gives you more throat hit. VG gives you more vapor. So since you like TH you might want to consider either all PG or 80%PG/20%VG.
These are some of the suppliers that are very popular now are: FSUSA, BWB, KBV, Vaperite. But there alot of other suppliers, too. Everyone taste is different, so what someone might like, you might not. You can check the supplier forum and find other suppliers as well. Also right now, gourmet vapor has a 50% off (coupon code: utahrocks) there is alot of juice selection there, and you can pic your PG/VG ratio there, too. So maybe you can pic up some samples for a great price. The sale ends on 3/07/11. I've been vaping for alittle over 2 months and still having find something I really enjoy yet.

) I am already realizing that I am going to need to upgrade, as I work out on the road (UPS driver) and really do not have time to be tapping off with juice, changing batteries and the like. I am thinking that the ego-t is probably a good fit, but not sure. I like the 510, but wouldn't mind a little more of a throat hit (feeling more in my lungs .....maybe more vapor?) Maybe you should consider a passthru. Passthru = charge while you vape. Get a usb to car charger adaptor and you can use your passthru and just constantly vape. If you really considering to get a passthru, I would recommened the eGo Passthru. The eGo passthru is also a battery. You can unplug the usb and walk around w/ it as well. Also I recommend the eGo PT over the 510 PT because you can try out other equipment as well. Such as low resistance atomizer, tank .. etc. Also the eGo is basically a larger 510just with a better battery life. So everything you are using for your 510 will be able to use on your eGo. As for vapor and TH, I think it's going to be about the same as the 510. But if you use a LR atty on the eGo, you will get a better throat hit. Since carts is a hassle to you, I would recommend the cartomizer. I suggest the Boge 510 LR cartomizer. No leaking, taste more consistant and easy to fill. I'm not sure how much you vape, but for me I go through 10 cartomizer for about 3 - 4 weeks. Cartomizer can be refilled till they don't work no more. Also if you just refill it, and it's doesn't taste so good anymore, that also a sign for throwing it out. Some people clean them, but I don't. Too much work for me. I don't really recommend the Tank, although I'm using it right now, too. If you get a good one, awesome. But if you get a bad one, leaking issues and burn taste. This and that. You might be able to adjust it alittle to fix it. But I think it's alittle hassle for someone new. I don't think you want to drive and then it leaks, your be disappointed. At least the boge cartomizer doesnt' leak. The boge cartomizer doesn't taste as good as the tank when it wicks well. But at least it's consistent. The Tank is not consistant, at times you will get a burn taste.
*Just to let you know, you can't use LR on your Joye 510.

Good luck

I broke down and bought an ego-t. WOW, it is great. Seems to be working good. Just got tired of messing with the 510. Batteries not lasting long, adding fluid, messing with the "stuffing" in the cartridge and the like. I bought mine from cignot and they did a great job packing and shipping in a speedy manner. Have I mentioned that I love this forum? I would be so lost with out it......my 510 started to taste funny, and I started to think that maybe I was loosing the taste for vape.....well I checked his channel, did a rubbing alchole soak, dry and it was burning like new. I am real excited to see how the ego-t works. I am still smoking, but that was more because I gave up trying to use a 510 while driving a UPS truck. Anyway, thanks for aall the help, tips and info. You guys are great! May have saved my life and many many many more lives.
