When I first started vaping almost a year ago, I was complaining to a non-smoking/non-vaping friend of mine about having to shell out $12 for a 901 battery. He very calmly said, "I wonder how much you'll be dropping in co-payments for chemo if you don't quit smoking pretty soon......"

I smoked for quite a few years.
I tried to quit smoking when the price's started to get out of hand, I even quit for 6 months one time, but was miserable everyday and had dreams about smoking. As soon as I heard about the electric cigarette I found a cheap one on eBay, didn't work good but got me into searching and finding this forum.
Started with the 901 and 100% quit smoking 366 days ago. Sense then I've joined the 510 crowd, not because it's better than the 901, but it was becoming the most popular. I fell in the same trap with video tapes, my first was the beta and I knew it was a better quality, but people liked the 6 hours of recording on VHS. Even after I kept spending on beta tapes, VHS won the war. So instead of getting too financially committed to the 901, I bought a 510. Don't get me wrong, I love my 510, but my first was a 901.

I bought a Juice Box, and during the wait I found the cartomizer. I've jumped on the 510 cartomizer bandwagon, and don't even use my JB.
I built my first mod, a 5v box mod a couple of months ago, and just got my first mega battery (HELLO 16) last week, I love both of those.
I only like the PG tobacco flavors, just tried the cuban cigar this past week and love it.

My favorite juice is Mist Stix Marlboro 24mg. But unfortunately I think he has been ill and hasn't kept the supply up. his shipping is fast, just wish I knew the brand of his juice and his price for ECF member was the best.
I'm always scanning the suppliers forum for good deals.
I live on the east side of Tucson.
I never get to Phoenix unless I'm picking someone up at the airport, and that's not very often.
If you ever have a meeting here in Tucson and I'm not working, I would like to go.

About a month ago, my batteries were dead and I needed a cig. I opened a new pack of my regular brand and lit up. Took one drag and it was horrible. Thought I was going to be ill. Took another drag and it was worse than the first one! I threw the cig away after just two drags.
This is important because I had been thinking that I really wanted to smoke a cigarette. I would smell one and think I wanted one. I would see other people smoking and I wanted to join them. I was thrilled that the one cig I tried was horrible. Those two drags convinced me that I will NEVER go back to tobacco. Thanks to my e-cig, I am finally done with tobacco. I know most of you here will understand how happy this made me.
I have a lot to learn about ecigs and this forum has proven to be a valuable resource. I had heard the commercials on the radio for ecigs. I started reading about them on the internet. Then a girlfriend had one and the rest is history. I was hooked.
Hubby is retired. We lived in MN and three years ago we moved to Arizona City. Why Arizona City? I design, sew, and sell purses and purse accessories at Art & Craft shows. This is the perfect location for my business. Both of us are happy here in Arizona City and have adapted to desert living.

Hi All.. just wanted to introduce myself. I've been vaping since May and love it! I was a pack a day smoker, and am still guilty of having one or two a day, but this e-cig is a serious life saver. I've never found anything that truly keeps me from smoking like this thing does. My story is pretty typical i guess. I was lucky in finding this forum before buying anything. I started with a 510, but hated the battery life so i switched to the eGo and LOVE it. I've now got 4 eGo batteries in rotation, about 7 attys and am slowly building up a pretty respectable collection of liquids I live in Surprise around 114th ave & Bell and am thoroughly enjoying being able to vape inside with this 118 degree weather we're having.
Oh, and Hellen, are you the lead singer of Hellen? If so, i've seen you play a few times and you are AWESOME!

Speaking of Flagstaff...Thats where I live. Well, near Flagstaff. I love it here and feel the winters here are actually mild. Have you ever done winter in Minnesota or Buffalo, NY? Now THATS rough, lol.
