Another Phoenician/Arizonan here. Just started vaping today, and glad I'm making the switch. I've been smoking for 27 years about a pack a day, and having turned 45 recently, begun to feel the effects.

I live in the metrocenter area of town, and looking forward to meeting others in the area.

Welcome to the group. It is nice to meet you. I have Not been to a meet up yet and I, too, am so looking forward to meeting folks in this group. Anyhoos....welcome!!

Welcome to VIP!

See the Sticky thread with the info. for our September 18th Social! We're still celebrating our 1 Year Anniversary. Good times!

Scott you are really close to ECigSupply's new offices (he just moved it). You can pop in for gear if you are in need (he's now at 43rd Ave and Peoria). 602-910-4255

Of course, you can also buy stuff (or win it!) at the Social! We have a couple of suppliers who attend each month that donate to our drawings and bring stock for sale. Hope to see you all there.

Thank you for the welcome! Definitely looking forward to the meetup, and will be paying a visit to ECigSupply, though the address on the facebook page says 67th ave and Greenway?

That is his old address and he hasn't updated the address yet on the website or Facebook.

I called him. Here is the correct info

4480 West Peoria Suite 103 (Behind Meridian Bank in the office complex) on the North side of Peoria.
Office direct number is 623-979-9535 (phone isn't working this morning... they're in the middle of adding lines and stuff... so try again later). Skype phone is 602-910-4255 (but their internet is being worked on today, so it doesn't go through).

I called him on his cell (sorry, can't give it out) and told him to update all his pages, LOL.

Hey there, I'm Murray in north central Phoenix.

I've been vaping for about 3 weeks now. I'd been smoking a pack a day plus a cigar a day for decades. My last smoke was a CAO Brazillia I had while unboxing my first ecig order (well there was that half a cig a week in). I just like vaping better.

I haven't found a juice with the real rich dark spicy tobacco flavor of a maduro cigar but all the tobacco and novel flavors I've tried have been keepers, good in their own right.

Using an H16 (hello 016), GreenCig G120 cigar, LeCig D-1 and KR808.

Morning BigMurr! Welcome to the looney bin *grin* and congrats on starting vaping. If you like heavy cigar flavors, maybe check out the Halo line of tobaccos. I will be bringing a few 5ml bottles for our drawing at the next meeting.

See the sticky with the next Social info (it is on the 18th). Hope to see you there.

Greetings all, my name is Chris and I live in NorthEast Phoenix, near the 51 and Thunderbird. I've been vaping for 9 months now, and with the exception of a couple of hardware failures have been off analogs the whole time. I started with the volcano (L88B) but it ran out of batteries too fast, the carts didn't hold enough juice, etc. So I switched to the Magma (510) and have been happy with that. When I save up a little money I plan on getting a big battery mod of some sort, I want to try a 5v. I was a computer security guy for a long time, but I've been out of work for several years now with severe depression. I don't get out much but look forward to making it to the get-together on the 18th if possible, right now it looks like a 50/50 chance I'll be there but I'll post in that thread when I'm more certain. It would be great to meet some fellow vapers.

Some other random facts in response to Hellen's suggested topics... I found out about e-cigs from a random guy on Google Wave, found ECF from a link on the Volcano web site (and lurked for months before making an account), my avatar is a screenshot from my favorite X-Files episode, and I'm into reading, gaming (board games, card games, computer/video games, whatever), and conspiracy theories (as a hobby, not an obsession).

Hi Chris!

If you are thinking about a 5v or other mod, you'll be able to see and try out loads of mods and ask people questions about their experience with them. I'll let you try out my Buzz variable voltage with your 510 atty while you are there if you like (I have 3 of them, so you can use one during the meeting if you want). Chad at ecigsupply is stocking those for Notcigs so hopefully he'll bring some of them for sale (he usually has killer deals on attys, etc. anyway). It has become my favorite mod since I can run it at 4.7v (sometimes 5v is a bit harsh).

I hope you can come to the next VIP social. Great group of folks and we really do have lots of fun. I'll look forward to getting to meet you.

Hello everyone, my name is Doug. I just started with vaping and am learning as much as I can about this whole new world. I saw I just missed a meet-up but am looking forward to attending one in the future.

And thank you Hellen for stopping by and posting in my thread in the newbie forums to invite me to VIP!
