Im hoping the nova works well for me. Most of the reviews for the V2 at least seemed positive. I tried some ce2s from gotvapes and they were horrible, no wicking and nothing but dry burnt taste. Ive been using the smoktech EMDCC mostly because they were cheap and I didn't have to refill it every 5 hits. But Ive never really been happy with them either, Im not crazy about how carts vape.

Really hoping the rev and nova tank will be a good setup for me

I don't know, but would be interesting to see. I know the 3VO/EVO there was a shorty tube that enabled you to do it on one 16350 batt. I also know someone that had their tube cut and threaded for it to work. I think the difference is that the 3VO was setup for 3.7v vaping with one battery....not so sure the REV3 can do it the way it stands?

Thats what I'm using is the aw ICR's from my EVO. Vape3 posted that they could be hit or miss with REV3 when using dual coil cartos because of the high amp draw from the dual coils so that's why he posted to use the imr's only. I haven't had any issues using the batteries I used in my 3V0. I'm using the MK2 cartos that come with SVR on it with an adapter. I think redfox has said he also is using the aw ICR's without issues as well. Hope this helped

I have purchased both the red and black battery varieties and the black ones are very temperamental. I was drawn to them because the red ones are only like 550 mah and the black ones I think are 750 or higher. They stall out and require taking the carto off and popping off the battery cap and putting it all back together. Then repeat the process when it stalls out again. Major pain in the ....

So what's the solution for a long-lasting battery? I don't know anything about batteries, but is it possible to use one larger sized battery? Or does stacking two smaller ones produce more power?

So my Rev3 just stopped working today, was fine one second and the next the LED lights come on but no atty or cartomizer will work on it.
Has anyone had any issues with this?
I emailed 310vapors to see if the might give me a replacement, Ive only had it for a little over a week.
This really sucks, I went through two EVO's that were complete garbage and hoped this would be a good solution. For all the money Ive spent on this cheap chinese stuff, I could have bought a Provari by now.
I swear, I could drop EGO batteries from the top of the Empire State Building and they would still fire

I have two Rev3's. Neither one has problems other than the really poor screw threads at the bottom. Check your batteries. Sometimes the Rev3 acts funny with the black batteries I referenced above your post. The red ones work like a champ. Both of these devices have been chain vaped for a couple months now and came from different shipments.

Hmmm......thought I saw out of stock a few days ago. Anyway, I was gonna get one for a friend and an extra one for myself. Some people checked mine out at a small vape meet in Massachusetts last month. They were impressed, especially at it's price. Phil Busardo was one of those people and we both chuckled at the rattly button, but I assured him and others that it had not misfired once. I'm really surprised there aren't more vendors are carrying this pv yet. I guess all that matters is that 310 has it. Thanks again for great CS as always....

Yes, the REV3 only comes in SS.

You're welcome! I use SR XXL Boges on mine in DCTs and love it! It is really all up to personal preference. Make sure you get the proper batteries. Congrats on your future purchase!

im planning on using a tank from mom and pop. Just hope that 2.0ohm isnt too low of a resistance.

Cool! I've run a LR Boge on mine before. I just found that if I went to the 5V or 6V setting that I could dry the carto out quick! LOL I'm a pretty heavy chain vaper.
