I just ordered 3 of these. I'm going to give one to both of my parents who are attempting to quit analogs. I'll keep mine for fishing trips and hikes in the woods. The pack doesn't go well with everything I wear. Will these be offered in different colors?

BTW What is unobtanium??

Probably some new alloy to work with the flux capacitor.

Too bad they're out of stock. :(

Hey there's a schematic drawing of the power supply! Maybe the guys over at the modding forum can duplicate it.

The interesting thing about this is it's 100% doable.

Let me google that for you

HowStuffWorks "How Wireless Power Works"

They use this technology now and have materials to produce better results. All they need to deliver at most is 3.7 volts to make a good e-cig work. I think it's worth exploring.

Here ya go. 40 bucks. http://www.myradiostore.com/fmmodulators/i2i-modulator.html

This device powers a 5 volt satellite receiver and other devices.

Wireless FM Transmitter Modulator & 5-Volt Power Supply

The i2i transmitter is a powerful FM modulator that not only transmits a wireless signal to your vehicles FM radio, but will also power your 5-volt satellite receiver....

The i2i transmitters digital screen makes selecting your exact channel simple and its three preset buttons allow you to store your best stations. The wireless modulator is perfect for use with satellite radios, but is also compatible with a variety of devices such as iPods, cell phones, PDA's and other portable electronic devices. It can charge iPods and cell phones as well as transmit the audio from a DVD player to your vehicles FM radio.

If THIS is doable, I see no reason why it cannot be adapted to e-cigs. This is wireless transmission of power through FM radio waves. Of course you still need a source I think. Perhaps a battery pack built into a stylish belt.
