Also, I just wanted to say that I am extremely disappointed to see your juice bottles in a BOX!!

The box makes distribution so much easier. Just think of stacking 100 bottles, then how easy it is to stack 100 boxes.

The box is very well done, high end techniques, featuring thermographic raised metallic inks and spot varnish. Notice how the flames at the bottom are shiny and the black is flat. Plus the window. Not a cheap box. I'll wager this is to further establish Halo's image as the largest e-juice maker and vendor in the USA.

It doesn't matter how well they're done, when it comes right down to it, they are just more trash for the landfill... :glare:

What are the tanks? rebranded Aspires? Good job on new kit. If I hadn't already moved on to eLeaf after Triton's a year ago I would be all over this. the 50w is a great next step for moving on from a Triton, or if you are just starting out. I think Halo did a really good job with refreshing their hardware line. I think the price for a good tank like that, the 50w, and bottle of juice is right in line. So Kudo's. Off to order some High VG juice now. Sad to see Torque didn't get a high VG version though. =(

True.
Imagine if a state gov't decided to impose a 5¢ deposit on glass bottles...

My bigger concern is all these lithium batteries. More so the disposables like Logic or Blu.

I'm not stressing a tiny paper box. What I stress is unwrapping kids toys from packaging at Christmas. You have to get out tin snips, screwdrivers, and a socket set to remove all the wire, plastic, and bolts, that hold each and every piece down. Then you fill up a 50 gallon drum liner with all the packaging. lol

If the paper box bothers you, you can just go back to throwing away 200+ cigarette butts vs. the packaging from a single 30ml bottle of juice.

I am concerned with the Tracer being NOT voltage regulated. It does have a 15 second cut-off. But what if someone (like a newbie) puts on a dripper with a poorly made coil that is just too low. I really hope there is a upper limit to the output. A unregulated sub-Ohm mech mod is so NOT for a beginner, especially if they use a tank/atty other than the one from Halo.

The Reactor is better suited for a beginner. If it has the same circuit board as the iStick 50 watt, then it won't fire a coil that is too low. It also is regulated to max at 50 watts or 10 volts. And should take a coil between 0.2 and 5 ohms.

I like the box; I use it to carry a spare bottle.

I'm still vaping away on my unregulated Triton 650 (and the two 1'300 I repaired), still on a regular 2.2-2.4 coil. I retired my two 900, that served me for over a year. I just wish the coils would last longer, but this is still the cheapest option out there.

I'm looking forward to trying the new V-type e-liquids!

BigBen, did you ever try the lower resistance coil on the normal triton battery? If so, what did you think about it?

I've only used the stock 2.2-2.4, and 2.6-2.8. I don't like the higher 2.6-2.8 on the regular battery. It burns too cool. I'm trying to decide if I should try the ones below the stock....I think they are 1.8-2.0?? Something like that.

I've tried it. It was ok, but a tad too hot for my liking. So, I switched from the 650 to use those coils with my VarVolt Triton bat.

And I only tried it with Mystic and Torque. They seem to tolerate higher temps better than my Malibu. And no way for Belgian Cocoa. That is better cooler, as it will gunk a coil quick.

BigBen!!!! Nice to hear from you again. I used my 650s the other weekend at a reception. They are tiny compared to the long VarVolt (and the iSticks). I was getting coils from another vendor, but they discontinued hardware, so I might have to buy some from our friends at Halo.

Yes, I have non-Halo stuff, but Malibu in a Triton tank still is the best for me!
