There's a 10 character minimum on ECF. Some Pictures, like the Smileys, will post by themselves, because the link to them is longer than 10 characters. If you wanted only the word "no" to post, you'd have to do it something like this . . .

Hi VC,
I've had trouble getting some pics to post using the Image Link. So what I've found that will work is to get the image's link, paste it into the post, and then type in this around it . . .
[ IMG ] http://imagelink.jpg [ /IMG ]
all with No Spaces. I had to do it this way so you could see it.
Of course, that image link doesn't work, as it's just an example.
Thanks, think I already tried that over in the sandbox area, fairly sure the conflict is with skydrive security or something.
But major thanks for the advice, might work it our latter if I have time.
You don't have to go to the Sandbox every time. To do a Test, try this . . .
Right-Click on Reply, or Reply with Quote, and select Open in a New Tab. Enter your stuff and then use "Preview Post" until you get it right. If you don't really want to Post it, then don't click "Submit." Just close the Tab, and you don't have to Post it after your testing. You could do this in the Sandbox as well, if you really don't want it to show up there.
Or if you start your test here (in a thread), you can use "Go Advanced" and play with it like that until you get it right. If you don't want to Post it, just hit Back until you get back to where you started.
If the (early version, NOT Stainless, not as well vented) Telescope which I won from GV in this very thread (OK, it was an earlier version of this very thread), from these very fine folk is an indication, You'll be quite pleased. They have a great feel, especially if ya' got big paws. I recently gifted it to my Pop for his 76th B-Day. My one bit of advice is to set the"button depth" so that it just makes contact, so that IF it was to get dropped without the "lockout" engaged, it won't dent the bottom of the battery too bad. Cheers
