I just been playing with the idea of doing some heads and making coils with 320 stainless to see but I have a tough enough time vaping with my setup. Seems to take more power to really get stainless to work but reports are that the taste is 100% improved.

I've been having my share of problems with SS Mesh. I found XS-18 to cover the upper portion with and wrap a coil around that, to prevent shorts. It's working, but it looks like the SS Mesh I bought isn't the best. I can't remember the name of the place I was told to get what's considered the best, and I probably shouldn't post it here anyway.

I think it was BFnT that was using 2mm EcoWool in a ProTank, and wrapping a coil around that. The 2mm EcoWool is hollow, so it will let the juice flow into it somewhat. EcoWool is made from Silica... it's a stranded Silica, normally made as an electrical insulator. If you're going to use it, you need to torch it first, to clean off the impurities. Then wrap a coil around it.
