I've tried off and on to get a Python but they keep going up in value. I got rid of everything except for a sig 226 for home defence and a CZ shadow target custom to embarrass all my friends with at the range. That thing shoots lights out.

That's too bad Rose. I grew up with a friend that was a fantastic artist and could have made a very good living from it. He wasted his talent from his ummm "personal" habits. Habits we can't mention on this forum. it's a shame too.
Very nice Steve, my grandfather brought back 3 Lugers from his tour and I was lucky enough to get one of those, as well as my brother. My father bought guns for my brother and I to give to us when we were of age. That is what made me collect things for my daughter.
Rose, my mother has narrowed her collecting down to Parsons-Jackson dolls. They are fairly inexpensive, but hard to find in good shape.
Edit: hate to hear that about your son. Hopefully everything will be ok.

No, I'm decent, but not as good as I would like. I can shoot trap and pistols quite well.
I got bought my sons Les Baer's for their 18th birthdays. My youngest can pluck your eyes out with it lol. Never seen a kid who can shoot as good as he can. He's hit 6" steel at 600 yds with my .308.
We better stop with the gun talk or we'll run rose off. But .308 is my favorite round, absolutely fabulous round.

Yea I have friend that is a natural with a rifle, not quite 6" at 600 yds (holy crap!) but he is quite good. He can't out shoot me with pistols but he sure does try. We really don't do much of that anymore, ammo has gotten pretty expensive.
IF the SHTF I do have a dedicated sniper lol. Funny thing is he's 5'7" and 115 lbs and will shoot the .308 all day long.
yup ammo is way too high to just go out and run through a bunch of it any more. Still try and go to the range a couple times a month
I have no idea what Duck House are lol. Mom collects depression era glass and some other kinds. on't know much about it either just that some of it is ridiculously expensive to the right buyer
