New wraps for Blackcell’s 18650’s

    Here are the new wraps for Blackcell‘s 18650’s. It looks there will be a 2500mAh cell and a 3000mAh cell.

    I don’t like the big 40A number on both, as it’s useless, but at least the continuous discharge rating (CDR) is there. These wraps are a good step up from the hugely exaggerated ratings they have now and I hope other companies will add accurate continuous current ratings to their wraps.

    I‘ll be testing these when they become available, hopefully within a few weeks.

    The excessive number of significant figures in the ratings make me shake my head. It's absurd to put those on the labels unless each cell is individually tested and the numbers on each cell reflect that cell's test results. But I'm pretty confident that's nit what's happening here.
