I just received 2 XSL 18650 2600mAh batts for my Silver bullet 2 days ago. Here's my question.

How long should it take to charge fully? Im using a DSD charger: DC: 5.5V/450mA output. I've used this charger for all of my 17670 1800mAh batteries and when they reach full charge the indicator light switches from red to green usually about 4 hours later. The problem im having is I've had one of the new 18650's on the charger for about 12 hours now and no green light. My other 18650 was on for 6 hours and same issue. The battery is not hot nor does it make the funky smell to indicate a faulty circuit.

The charger says it is for 16340(cr123a), 18650 & 17670 LI-ion batteries.

Should i go get a new Charger or wait a little longer?

If the batteries are at the low cutoff point, it should not take any more than 6 hours max to charge them. As such, either the charger is not operating as advertised, or the batteries are bad. As there is the potential for serious negative consequences, I would not charge these unattended until you know whether it is a charger or a battery problem. I definitely would not wait for them to charge... granted, there is the possibility the battery protection circuitry/charger combo is doing something odd, and they could spring to life at some point. On the other hand, the potential for something to burst into flame is also a possibility.

The only way to tell what your charger and / or batteries are doing is with a volt meter. They are a cheap investment (can be had for $10 - $15) and it takes the guesswork out of charging or chargers.

Easy how to here: Using a DMM Meter

Your battery or charger should never go above ~4.2v, which is a full charge. (can vary ever so slightly ~.02v depending on the accuracy of your meter)
