With New York’s flavor ban on hold (until an official ruling is delivered on Friday, 10/18), it is becoming more and more likely that this issue will be settled in the legislature. Although for the moment there is no single bill that would replace Governor Cuomo’s abrupt flavor ban, there is the annual raft of anti-vaping bills which demonstrate that some in the legislature are willing to go further than just a flavor ban.

- Take a moment to send a Tweet to Melissa DeRosa (@melissadderosa), Secretary to the Governor.
- Politely, and briefly, share your story about switching to vaping and how important it is to protect legal access to safer alternatives to smoking.
- Now is the time to start contacting your lawmakers and educating them about meaningful policies that will protect consumers while ensuring legal access to safer alternatives to combustible tobacco.
- The legislature is scheduled to return for the 2020 session on January 8.
