Yes @NYCguide that is 100% true.

It is impossible to replicate the taste of combustion with vaporizing.

However, there are some excellent e-liquids which are satisfying with a tobacco-type taste to them.

e-liquids (juice) are frequently given names which have a distant similarity to certain tobaccos. I like the 'flue cured' style and often the camel-inspired variants. There are flavors like "USA mix" or "Highway" and sweeter types with have caramel or other flavors.

The generic Chinese ash-tray flavor is what most most of the rip-off brands fill their cartridges with. It's OK as an introduction to vaping.

You will never find an e-liquid that's identical to cigarette flavor. Tribeca by Halo is virtually close, and there's a couple vendors online that sell similar tasting e-liquids (just google Marlboro Red E-liquid)

Try Beyond Vape at St. Marks...they might have what you're looking for, and if not, the classic arcade 5 stores down will get you drunk and happy lol.

I love Tribeca, but it really isn't a true tobacco, although it got me down the road to vaping. Trying to match up to a cigarette, let alone a particular brand (I was Marlboro Light) will just drive you crazy. You sort of have to accept it won't be exactly the same and then find whatever just tastes good to you. It's also very individual, I could like one thing that you'll hate, and the opposite.

Although maybe Tribcea is the best transition juice to start with. It seems a lot of folks here went that way and I've never read anyone saying they hated it (I'm sure there are folks who do, but I haven't read a lot like that).

other than N.E.Ts there are none that taste like real tobacco, except for one that i feel comes close, French Pipe Tobacco by EJC labs (or you can buy its super concentrate and mix your own).

I don't recommend N.E.Ts to beginners except for 'heathers heavenly vape' ones, their Gandalf now called 'Legends' is what finally got me off cigarettes for good. the majority of the others N.E.Ts are not for beginners IMO, they gunk up coils within minutes and will lead to frustration and giving up if you are not rebuilding your own coils..

i would suggest you buy smalls sizes of her favorite candy, fruit, desserts instead of just tobacco. lots actually end up preffering those flavors over tobaccos.

When I started vaping after 40+ years of very heavy smoking, my senses were so trashed that I really could not taste or smell anything. I started with the usual Chinese tobacco flavors (cowboy, desert, freedom...those kind of names). Those work but, one day after about a month or two, I began to taste and smell again.

BTW, the world doesn't smell like I remember it from 1970. Somebody screwed it up and I want to know who it was.

Anyway, all of those tobacco flavors suddenly tasted awful. This began what is affectionately know in my house as "the Great Tobacco Hunt of 2012". I went thru perhaps 50 samples from 7-8 different vendors but couldn'y find a good tobacco flavor. Fortunately, one of those flavors was a cherry cigar flavor and I was able to discover that I actually like to vape fruit flavors.

Today, after 4 1/2 years, I find that the best flavor is no flavor at all. I have been using unflavored for 3 years. To me, it is the closest thing to what I vaguely remember smoking to taste like.

Does she like the Special Blend because of not really liking most other cigs, or does she really love them? I've had people tell me they'd switch if the taste was exactly the same, only to say a minute later that they don't really like the taste of smoking. Some sort of mixture of Puritanism and looking for any excuse.

I find the first drag of a cig (after abstaining) amazing but vaping can easily be more enjoyable than the rest of the cig. Tobacco flavors for vaping span a huge range but the best are amazing. However, the thing that most improves the flavor of the vape is quitting smoking.

Hi, all. My wife is a cigarette smoker who only smokes Marlboro Special Blend. I've gone to two Manhattan shops that sell juice. Both say there's nothing like that flavor.
    Is that true?
I'd really like to get her of smoking and into vaping.
Welcome and glad you joined. All above is pretty much true. When you are sucking on a chemical laden physically additing ash trey, vaping falls a little short. But, if you ask most vapers, vaping is far superior to smoking. You do not need to spend more than $40 dollars to get started. Your health is worth much more.

It's hard to say because, what one thinks tastes like a cig, someone else doesnt. I heard mention tribecca but to me it's way sweeter then a cig. One of the closest I tasted is patriot by goodejuice, but someone else might not think so. Patriot is a NET juice but it's clean , so no worries. Also like mentioned before, heathers heavenly vapes is very good. Yes alot of these stores today don't carry alot of tobacco juices , most cater to high vg cloud blowing juices which sound more like kids flavors like ice cream and fruits

Welcome @NYCguide and I hope you enjoy your stay! There are some flavors that are supposedly close to Marlboro Red and a Vape Buddy has tried them and in his opinion they were close. You might want to look into then if just for the heck of it. American Red Tobacco and Tobacco Red are a couple I have not tried them personally though and can't give a personal opinion.

When I was first attempting to quit and after I finally did, the search for the closest tobacco flavor was endless so I can understand the situation. At present my GF will not vape flavors only tobacco and it was hard to even get her to switch from Logic to the myJET but I did it. Now if I could only get her to vape flavors but she is still using the Buck Naked American and Turkish Tobacco flavors.
