I am new to this, but I have been lurking on here for about a week. I initially was sucked into the Green Smoke marketing and purchased the starter pack for $130.

After getting my feet wet in here, I realized it was very expensive. Quite frankly though, it is not a terrible product from what I can tell, just overpriced. It produced large amounts of vapor and they had good flavors. Nonetheless, I requested my RMA and I am sending it back this weekend.

I switched over to the Vapor4Life product and am quite happy with it overall. I am pleased with the service and product, although I do think the Green Smoke was a little more polished. and I moved from a pack of smokes a day to about 1-2. Hopefully I will kick it soon, but I love that first cigarette in the morning with a cup of coffee.

Now that I have my vaping experience well underway, I am thinking about picking up the ego-T tank system to try out.

At any rate, hello! Thanks for the hours of reading and education so far!

That first smoke in the morning is a sticking point for a lot of people when they first get started.

Don't sweat it, as you get more used to your electronic cigarette, you will very likely come to prefer it.
And besides, eventually you will very likely start to dislike the taste of that cigarette.

Once you have passed the stage of having to mess with your electronic cigarette to make it work, you are home free!

Welcome, Schoolbob :)

I started out with the greensmokes too, and at least they were good enough to convince me vaping is a Good Thing™ It takes some time and experimentation to "settle in" to the proper equipment, the right nic level, and a flavor you like, but in the meantime, just think of all the analogs you AREN'T smoking.

Keeping track of how many I haven't smoked has been a great way for me to go about quitting differently this time. (Other than the magical nicotine wand of courage that I've been weilding). I actually have an app on my phone that keeps track of how much I haven't smoked and how much money I haven't spent. It's one of my favorite stats to check every night.

Yep I was fortunate enough to be able to drop analogs the minute I started vaping, thanks in part to all the info I got here and in the VaporTalk forum. Great community and really helpful answers. I have half a pack of Marlboro special lights on my dresser that are my trophy, I have no urge to touch them after almost 5 months with my eGo. You'll find your sweet spot, and I can't help but laugh to myself when I pass by a group of smokers and think "OH That smells so nasty" when I would've been standing there with them just last year. The only bad part is that I've had to buy premium bottled water like Figi or at least Aquifina instead of the sams choice I used to, because I can actually taste the difference now. Good trade off imo.
