I have a Ego kit I got yesterday. The shop had some other batteries. What is a e-vic or lava tube do? The one I have works fine but I have seen some cool things on google. I keep seeing mods. What is the better about them?

They regulate the power of the vape and have longer battery life. Some of them have neat features like checking atomizer resistance.
