New to the forum and to vaping! Switch from analogs to vapor about 2 months ago and will never go back!! :) wanted to say hello to everyone and throw a preference question out there for anyone with a VAMO. I receive my VAMO V2 finally (stoked!!!). I was just wondering what everyone runs battery wise. One 18350, two 18350, or one 18650. The way I look at the fact of two 18350's compared to one 18650 is nothing but a hassle of 2 batteries instead of one. But like I said I'm a newb! I like the slimmed down look of one 18350 in the VAMO but don't want my vaping experience to be hindered because of my "appearance preference". Thanks for your welcome :) ahead of time and also for any info/help given :). HAPPY vaping!

Welcome and congrats on dropping the stinkies, like the dogs they are!!!! :toast: I agree with your logic on the 2 18350's vs 1 18650. Also, on a true mechanical mod, stacking batteries is frowned upon, but I don't know if it also applies to a regulated mod like yours. I don't have a Vamo, but my advice would be using the 18650 due to longer battery life than a single 18350 and less hassle. If you have your mod and a couple quality 18650's you should be set! The only advantage I see in the 18350 is a smaller vaping setup and a little more stealthy. I have 2 NCR18650PF batteries that are rated at 29oomAh! That's more life than my MVP, and in a smaller package. I have been looking at the Vamo, among other APV'S and I am thinking I may need to make room for one in my collection. :2cool: If you haven't yet, do a little homework on your batteries and buy a quality brand that suits your needs. There are a ton of different 18650 configurations available.

Thanks for the advice so far! I do like the "stealthy" look/feel of the single 18350. It looks a lot more proportional lol. I've read a few post about stacking them and after reading I think I'll just pick up a couple 18650's. For the long weekend vapes. That way if I want to be all stealth like then I can throw in - single 18350.

HAPPY VAPING!

Hi Deanwick, welcome to ECF.

For any specific battery related questions, I would refer you to the battery master, Baditude! He has published a LOT of information on almost everything I battery related that you would ever want/need to know.

I have found that the 18350 batteries last me quite a while in my eVic and Legend, and I am a pretty heavy vaper. I tend to use them when I want a stealthier setup than the big long tube of an 18650. It makes my mods a LOT more pocket friendly. I can't speak to stacking your batteries other than to say that I have never tried it, and many recommend against it. As always ... YMMV!

Congrats on quitting smoking, keep up the good fight!

Well it's going on the 2nd day and the single 18350 is still holding strong and hasn't died! Have been through one tank on my davide 2.5ml. I am assuming it's gonna die soon though since the battery is a 3.7v and the v2 is reading it now at 3.6 (fully charged it read 4.1v). I'm planning on vaping the batt until the V2 says it's dead so I can see how much time I have on a 18350. The stealthiness of the mod is just too sexy at the moment to change.

HAPPY VAPING!
