So I'm very new to vaping. Haven't smoked in years, but can't seem to kick the nicotine. Quit analogs using nicotine gum, then stated dipping and chewing the gum off and on. After messing up my gums with the chewing tobacco, I went back to the gum. That stuff gets expensive.

My wife just hasn't been able to stop smoking, period. She has tried the metal, light up at the type ecigs with no luck. This summer we got her a Spinner II with a tank, but the tank continually leaked, so she was again frustrated. A friend recommended the MVP 2.0 with a Nautilus tank, and I wound up buying one for each of us. Worked good for about a week and had a heck of a time with the coils, both old and new versions.

Started watching youtube videos and WOW, it's amazing how much stuff is out there. Some of the pricing is way crazy, but there is some cool stuff. Anyway that is how I got here. Been lurking around, reading about stuff I have bought trying to learn. Four more posts to go, and I can fly on my own. LOL

Nicotine on its own, is not the devil. It is when it is used in the combustible form, smoking, that it becomes the problem child. Congratulations on your switch.

Yes, there is an amazing amount of different devices out there. The fun part is wading through all the options and finding one that will work for you.

5 posts aren't that hard to get and the forum refreshes 25 minutes after every hour. So you might as well settle in because you aren't going to make it this hour. ;)

Welcome! I've been trying to get my dad to quit smoking for years, I am just getting him used to the idea of vaping and thats its a good alternative

the newer bvc coils seem to have less trouble than the older dual coils. What were the issues you had? that seems a touch short on coil life unless you have a thick juice or have heavy use

There are two generations of the Nautilus BVC coils. The newer ones have much bigger holes, and unfortunately I don't like them at all, because they suck in too much juice and I get gurgling. The older BVC coils with smaller holes were far better, in my humble opinion.
With the newer coils, I also have to close the opening when putting the tank away, or the chamber tends to get flooded.
