Newb DIY recipes

Hey everyone,

I know there are plenty of resources out there, but rather than do a generic post so that I can get past the 5 post barrier to start contributing to the community, I thought it'd be better to get some input on other people's favourite eliquid mixes.

Right now I'm on an EGO with 510 cartos, I've been vaping for about a year and DIY mixing my eliquid for about three months. I get all my flavouring, PG and VG from Happyvapes or evapors, and have used canadavapes in the past. I like all three.

Right now my mix of choice is either:

1. PG and VG base (80/20 mix), 9mg nic, and a few drops of "Cuban Supreme" flavouring per 10ml batch.

2. As above, but with a few drops of butter run flavouring to satisfy a sweet tooth.

3. As in 1 but with a few drops of clove flavouring and a drop of butter rum for something a bit more spicy. This is not a perfect mix by any stretch - the butter rum is there to take the bitterness out of the clove flavouring, but it's not great.

I'd be really interested to know if anyone has a decent Chai recipe - I have chai flavouring but mix juice tastes like garbage.

Here is Perfumer's Apprentice Chai flavoring - somebody in the comments got strong flavor with 10% so try 5% first

And dang that is making me want to buy that flavoring. I probably have the most flavorings of anyone who has still never made an eliquid.

Here is the ECF DIY section - read the guide and read the lists or follow any link to a list of the brand flavoring you are using. Some lists have suggested percentages or ratings. Many note which flavorings are not safe to vape or a difficult to use (oil based)

Tobacco Juice

10ml - 50/50 - 24mg
2 drops of diluted Tobacco Absolute(2 drops pure TA diluted in 10ml of PGA)
4 drops of diluted Eythol Maltol(1/4 tsp EM crystals diluted in 10ml of PGA)
2 drops of CBT(Caramel/Bavarian Creme/English Toffee mixed in 8/8/2 ratio)
1 drop of MTS Vape Wizard
2 drops of sucralose

my guess is cost is around $1 per 10ml batch

Which flavoring did you use for the Peach?

LA Peach at 15% in 20mg 60/40.

BTW, I made 30ml, not the 60 I posted. This falls in line with mtv0987's figure.

Iffy, I'll be giving the Peach a go - but I think I'll need to do a bit more research before I'm ready to tackle MTV's recipe.

Fantasia #3: Makes 6ml of 18mg/ml e-juice*
60mg/ml PG-based Nic: 1.8 ml
Glycerin, USP: 3.2 ml
100 proof vodka: 8 drops
Blue Mist Seedman's Virginia Fire-Cured: 3 drops
Blue Mist Rob's Blackjack: 1 drop
Perfumer's Apprentice Green Apple: 5 drops
Flavour Art Hypnotic Mist: 1 drop
Perfumer's Apprentice Honeysuckle: 1 drop
Blue Mist Menthol: 6 drops

Allow to steep for three days for proper flavor melding. Very smooth, lots of visible vapor.

5 ml 48 mg 50/50 nic base.
5 ml PG
5 drops grape flavoring (TPA grape juice flavor)

Yields 10 ml 24 mg 75 PG/25 VG grape.

If you like peach the FlavourArt White Peach is awesome I don't like their regular peach but the white is very good.

Just started DIY 3 weeks ago, my favorite is TPA graham cracker, I mix it with 100%VG so i have to wait for it to age..
I use it @ 15% graham cracker flavor
.5 -1% sweetner TPA
.5-1% TPA vanillin10%crystals in PG
then your base VG or PG nic or no nic. (if using 100% VG add 2 - 5 drops distilled water)
(add more or less sweetner to taste) i like it sweet, its delicious and sweet.
I have also heard the graham cracker and a little TPA waffle, is really good...

6 months on I still make a 6ml bottle every day or two of:

5 drops PA toasted marshmallow
5 drops FA cookie OR 5 drops PA graham cracker, depends on what I have on hand
4 drops PA chocolate
30vg/70pg mix
