Hey all , I'm currently 3 weeks free of analogs after 15 years. I'm pretty in love with the awesome world of vaping. Current rig I've got is an ego c 650 mah battery with ce4 clearomizer. It's not a bad rig, however I am already planning my upgrade and have been addicted to the waiting of vapemail emotion. Just wanted to give a shout out and say thanks for all the informative and welcoming over all vibe of the forum. Also any one in the Rochester ny area looking to trade or s**l juices??? I'm in dire need. Thanks and I look forward to making my contribution somewhere down the line.

Congrats on 3 smoke-free weeks, FrankZappa, and welcome to the forum! And to the wonderful world of upgrades, lol! Be sure to keep backup supplies on hand, both devices and juice. Nothing worse than running out of something before the vapemail arrives...

Here's a start at finding a B&M near you: Electric Cigarette | Eliquid | Supplies | Electronic Cigarette | Ejuice | Vapor Search USA

Also, once you get your 5 posts in, you can check the local subforums to see if there's one for Rochester. Or post a new "any Rochester vapers?" thread. Given the tens of thousands of members here, there are bound to be!

Have fun on the forum; it's a fantastic and supportive community! :vapor: :thumb: :vapor:

As far as backups go I've got a few ce4s which thus far I'm not a big fan of. Looking to invest in a kanger protank. I ordered a hodge podge of random juices from mtbakervapor , being new to this i thought I would enjoy tropical flavores and I've discovered that I'm not a fan . I bought a cherry flavor by smoov through a local vendor. It's a nice flavor but at 13 bucks for 15ml ill pass. I'm looking for a good tobbacco flavor , also I'd like to try some mrgoodvape flavors. Thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome to ECF.

Your journey sounds a bit like how mine started, I started with the Joyetech C 650 mah Passthrough, nice little battery, but it can leave you wanting. And the CE4, only topper of the many I have tried that I didn't like and will never order again.

Kanger makes some good products, the Protank is glass, so it won't break down from juices. Protank has a very loose or airy draw, so draw lightly, if you draw on it like the CE4 you will flood it instantly.

Not sure if you are wanting to upgrade your battery, but it is always a good idea to have backup. A good upgrade is the Twist/Spinner ego style, you can adjust the voltage, and your Ego charger will work with them, saving you the hassle of buy another charger.

Of course there are always the devices like the Vamo, Zmaxes, etc. But then you need a charger and batteries.

Juice I can't really help much, other than to say, sample packs, gives you a variety of flavors to try. Often turns out flavor types we thought we would like don't appeal to us, while flavor types we thought we would hate turn out to be among our favorites.

Thanks for the input zot. I'll be placing an order shortly, really nice prices and great reviews. Steve I've got an extra 650 mah battery. The kit I ordered came with 2 batteries 4 ce4s charger and adapter with a 10 ml bottle of juice for 55 bucks. For genuine joyetech Batts and accessories I was convinced it was a good deal. I'm for sure researching for my next endeavor. I'm just not a fan of how a lot of the Pvs look. I want something simple and sleek. Something that doesn't look like a robot dildo or something from a tool box. I appreciate the input and suggestions. I love how science is so much a part of vaping , and the learning and expiermenting that comes along with it. Imo vapers are an intelligent bunch with a shared love for nerding out and rejoicing in the no analog zone

Lots of choices, almost too many. For a complete Joyetech kit with 4 toppers and 10 ml of juice, that isn't such a bad deal. Yeah, research and checking prices on many sites is definitely the way to go. Hope you find a juice and topper you like, wishing you the best.

It sounds like you have a pretty good grasp of what you want, and are willing to do the work to find it.

Thanks donzo. I enjoy your avatar. I've checked out a few head shops on Monroe , the people were super friendly but pretty virginal as far as the ecig world goes. I'm also new to the area and not very familiar with the city , it would be nice to team up with some fellow vapors and absorb as much info and knowledge as possible. Are there meet ups ? Is there an initiation? I feel like an outcast and people more often than not think I'm sucking on a drug inhalation device. I live on park an broadway near spot coffee. I plan on adventuring around the city today hooefully I can hit up a couple of mentioned shops and finds some nice juice. I'm sorry but these mtbakervapors just aren't cutting it.

Hi Frank welcome to Rochester glad to see a fellow Rochesterian on these forums... I've been vaping for about a year now but have only been off analogs for about three months. You definitely will be a a lot happier if you upgraded to an ego c twist for the variable voltage capabilities. If you wanted to go a step further I would suggest the Sigelei zmax v3 telescope. I've had mine for 3 weeks now and is all I use. I hardly tough my ego twists which are still good in a case of a emergency. I also have a joyetech evic which personally don't care for. As for juices I really don't have a all time favorite juice I can't live without but as Tobaccos go I would recommend would be Good Life Vapors Deadly Sin and Ahlusions Smooth Criminal. Both are great juices, also you might want to try Bobas Bounty by Aliens Vision which is suppose to be the Holy Grail of all e juices. I finally got my hands on some and is steeping right now so I haven't tried it yet. As for stores in this area the only ones I would recommend would be Upstate Vape on the corner of Stone and Dewey in Greece and Three Days Smoke Shop in the Walmart Plaza next to the Starbucks, they also just opened up a vape only shop called Three Days Vape Shop on Ridge Rd. I still order most of my stuff online from Stormy's Vapor Cellar. They have pretty much anything you could want or need at great prices and really fast shipping. I live in East Rocheter but work on Friday and Saturday nights at Vinyl nightclub on Alexander which is at the end of Park. If you need some juices I have a ..... ton I don't use sitting in a box, I'm pretty picky we
Hen I comes to juices but you might like them. As far as Mt Baker Vapor goes I agree with you that I didn't really care for them as their favors were really weak and that was with extra flavor shots. Good luck with the vaping and maybe we'll see ya around town.
