Newb Help NY Vaporforlife Questions

Hey I'm in New York and I've been smoking for a while. My habit never went up too much most I've smoked is 3 cigs a day I currently keep it at 1-0 cigs a day. But I want to quit completely so I was thinking about ordering VK-1000-MINIPCC from vapor4life.com. I was thinking of getting 8mg 4mg and 0 mg cartomizer. I was hoping if any one could tell me if this plan could help me stop smoking. ANd if there are any cheaper 2 piece ecigs thats good quality. Also whats the difference between manual and auto? I'm also scared about the pending NYC ecig ban which is why I held off till now. It would sucknot being able to buy refills. Do you guys think the ban will pass? -Thanks

Since you smoke so little, your needs are going to be totally different than most on this forum. I guess for you one battery would be sufficient. I personally like an assortment of chargers (usb, electrical, car adaptor) rather than the charging case, but since you only have one battery it would probably be convenient. The vaping experience for me has been very similar to smoking and was a very easy switch. I use the WOW 24 mg carts from V4L and like them. Carts are lasting me for two full days (former pack a day smoker). I think you might be better off with a higher nicotene since you are not going to vape very often, but I am new to all of this. The nicotene content in a cart is the entire cart so it may take you a week to go through one cart. It may also be that you have no addiction to nicotene, but I am not sure. In any event I would chose one 5 pack or sampler in one strength (probably 8 mg out of the choices you gave) and see how that works for you. If you still crave a regular cig than I would try moving up in nicotene content. My favorite flavor so far is cinnamon roll and I have disliked all the tobacco flavors I have tried.

Don't know about the laws in NY, but it really sucks that government is trying to stop such a good thing, but can you imagine all the taxes their losing from reformed smokers!

Manual batteries you have to push a button while vaping. They produce more vapor because you can push the button for 1 - 2 seconds and then take a drag (still holding the button) so it basically warms the cart. The button is conveniently located and not a pain. I don't think they last as long as automatics do, but again still new to this. The automatics are activated by suction and you are suppose to take a small drag and then a regular drag. I just smoke the autos like normal cigarettes and don't take the "primer puff", but a lot of smoke and a hard hit is not what I'm after.

Always look for coupons, I would be surprised if you ever had to order anything without one - V4L had 21% or 23% off for one day around Halloween. V4L ships very quickly and I received my order in 2 days.

That is so ridiculous that they're banning e-cigs... yet they love to keep Pro-Cancer cigarettes legal. Reminds me of a certain "flower" that this country loves to ban... But hey I'm not one for debating, all I know is that the e-cig works for me.

Can I use WOW watermelon carts and after they are empty can i refill them with say wow peppermint liquid?

I have been told that the WOW carts burn warmer than regular ones so I guess it would be similar to vaping through a passthrough with a regular battery. The warmth in my opinion, makes for an effortless draw and plenty of flavor. The Shorty Kit will have shorter batteries and in turn they will need to be charged much more often. The V2cigs.com website lists the actual length and diameter of each battery and the voltage and energy storage rating. The XLs are 380mah, the standard length 250 and I think the shortys are 150 so you can see there is a big difference of how long they will last between charges. I can't see a market for the shorty batteries, but I guess everyone is different. The XL seems to last 2x that of the regular batteries which is all day for me so I would guess that the Shortys only last a very short time before needing to be recharged.

You can change flavors, but will probably have to clean the cartomizers first. Watermelon would probably rinse fine with warm water, but you may have to use boiling water or vodka to get rid of a strong vape like peppermint.

if you're only smoking maybe 1 cigarette a day i wouldn't even spend the money on an ecig. you don't really have an addiction at that point IMO and just stopping shouldn't be very hard. you have to realize that most of us using these were smoking 1-3 packs a day.
