Greetings all. I have been lurking around for a few days now and I am very excited to have found this forum. There is sooo much i information out there, my head was spinning. I bought an njoy Npro last weekend at a convenience store, and although it definitely sucked, I get sense the potential. I have been a pack a day+ smoker for many years, and until now thought it was hopeless. Well, after reading many posts and watching countless videos on youtube, (big thanks to MistressNomad) I am ready to make my first real purchase.

I have only one question. I have decided to buy from Cignot, but I don't know whether to get the 510 kit with a PCC or the eGo kit. The 510 is 65. and the eGo is 59. so the prices are comparable. I know me and I will be vaping quite a bit. So, thoughts? Comments? Which one?

One last thing, thank you, thank you, thank you to one and all for your input and time on this forum. That goes for everyone, the veterans and the newbs, every thread has be invaluable.

So.... I can't wait to be "smoke free"!!!! :p

The Njoy isn't too terrible and at least it got you started. Glad you found the forum before spending any more! I would definitely go for the eGo. Two batteries will easily last you all day, PCC or not. You will probably want to get an extra battery at some point, but two will keep you going. Best of luck and welcome to the ECF!

I would definitely go with the eGo. It uses the same atty as the 510 but with a much longer lasting battery. I found the 510 pcc to be very inconsistent. I have also found with an ego you do not need a pcc just make sure you carry the other battery with you. (fully charged of course)

They perform basically the same, but the ego's cones does seem to warm the vapor more and give a better draw.

Cignot is a great place to buy from. Their customer service is outstanding.

If you want it to resemble an actual cigarette (or as close to one as possible) and don't mind constantly swapping out batteries, then get the 510. The eGo (650 mAh) is about the same length, but a bit wider. I find the width more to my liking, since I can stand it up when not in use. I change batteries when I get home from work and that is it. The 510 will last you only a couple of hours before recharging....maybe less depending on how much you vape. Personally, I would go with the eGo since you think you will be vaping a lot.

get the ego so you can use LR attomizers , with the 510 you cant
also the ego is much more consistent cause you have full battery longer
after 40 min with the 510 you will notice a drop in performance and if you vape lots like i do the 510 will only last you 2 hours per charge
LR atties make the difference for me i dont use anything else and now a regular 510 atty just doesnt cut it

Hi pseudus! Welcome to ECF!
If you decide to go with an eGo, have you looked at liberty-flights? Their kits give you 2 complete set-ups and you get color choices for $51.96 (w/discount) and I am pretty sure that shipping is only $2.99. (I hate paying shipping!!!) If you decide to go with Liberty-flights, don't forget to click the 20% dicount on the top left corner of their home page.
I aslo strongly recommend ordering a couple of extra atomizers, a box of cartos (3 ohm), and definitely some juices (3ml until you know what you like!) Atomizers (attys) and cartos so that you have choices to find your fit. I, personally, prefer dripping. My husband prefers cartos--the XL ceramic. As for the juices, I bet you will surprised by what you end up preferring. I thought that I would like tobacco mixes and now I can't stand them. Btw, I don't care much for Liberty-flights juices--they are OK but, not great. Juice preferences (both supplier and taste) are VERY subjective!!! So far, my favorite supplier is Gourmet Vapor (expensive, though!) and I don't care for FreedomSmokeUSA. (I have a bad customer service experience with them so, I am biased! lol)
Good luck to you and I hope this helps a little!

Hi pseudus! Welcome to the ECF. So I am biased as I own four eGo's. I don't know much about the 510 kit. So I like the eGo for what I see as versatility. You can drip/cart+atty/or cartomizer...learn what works best for you, while using the larger battery that will give you longer vaping time and more oomph to get you the vapor and throat hit you need. But this is based on my experience....the smaller systems just didn't cut it for what I need. After the eGo made a difference I moved on to a bottom fed juice mod...but that is a lot more expensive. Personally, I'd go with the eGo as it will last you a long time and has the versatility to let you experiment without leaving you disappointed. Good luck to you! You'll love vaping!

If you find that you are having issues, don't forget to drop in and ask for advice! No one wants you to give up over something that is likely easily fixed or addressed.
